Google’s DV360 adds Gemini-picked ad bundles for live sports
Buyers can add a ready-made bundle of ad space to a campaign in one click, up to 50 packages per line item, and Google has not said how Gemini fills them.
Google’s enterprise ad-buying tool now lets its AI assemble the shopping basket. In the first issue of a monthly update series, published on 22 October 2026, Display & Video 360 product director Glenn Thrope wrote that buyers planning around live sports and big events can now take a ready-made package of ad space chosen by Gemini and switch it on with one click, Google’s post says.
Display & Video 360, or DV360, is the software agencies and big brands use to buy video, TV and audio ad space across many publishers at once. The bundles sit in the Marketplace’s Featured tab, grouped by audience, region or ad format, and its search ranks inventory with Google audience data and forecast volume, PPC Land reports, citing Google’s help pages. A line item, one slice of a campaign, holds no more than 50 packages. Google has not explained how Gemini decides what goes into a bundle.
Search Ads 360 gets a redesigned home screen where Gemini suggests changes and pulls insights together, and the same post brings LinkedIn’s TV ad space into DV360.
AI’s share of the creative side has its own estimate. Our census of AI ad figures, checked 2 October 2026, carries ad buyers’ expectation in an IAB study that about 39 per cent of the digital ads US advertisers buy in 2026 will be built with generative AI.
With Google silent on how Gemini fills a bundle, a buyer who activates one in a click takes the model’s choice of publishers for that slice of the campaign.
