Creatify bills avatar video at 5 credits per 15 seconds, “rounded up” (help centre), so a 16-second ad costs the same as a 30-second one. HeyGen publishes no rounding rule: if a started minute bills in full, its 30-second ad costs the 60-second figure.

The HeyGen rows leave out Custom Expressive Motion, which adds 40 credits a minute to Avatar IV and lifts its 30-second ad to $1.72 (credits article). Creatify revisions cost 3 credits per 15 seconds, free on Pro when the script, avatar and voice stay the same.

Every plan: Creatify pricing and HeyGen pricing. Your own volumes: the cost per AI ad calculator.

What does the price gap buy on Creatify?

An ad workflow around the avatar: an ad launcher on the plan grid, and from Pro a competitor tracker and an agent that runs campaigns.

Creatify’s pricing grid lists an “Ad Launcher (Meta / TikTok / AppLovin)” and 200+ ad templates on Starter. Pro adds a competitor ad tracker for up to 10 brands, Ad Clone and the “AI Performance Agent (Meta / TikTok / AppLovin)”. HeyGen’s pricing page lists no ad launcher.

Agent, Ad Flow and Ad Clone “use a variable number of credits” that cannot be known up front (credit article, 19 August 2026).

Creatify Aurora against HeyGen’s avatar models

In the app, Aurora bills like any Creatify avatar video, 5 credits per 15 seconds; HeyGen charges 4 to 48 credits a minute by model.

Creatify’s Aurora article (10 May 2026) calls Aurora the default model of its Avatar Video tool and gives it no separate rate.

The API docs bill Aurora at 1 credit a second and Aurora Fast at 0.5, on API plans from $99 a month.

HeyGen’s credits article (17 September 2026) charges a minute of Video Look by model. Avatar III costs 4 credits, Avatar IV 31 and Avatar V 48.

What each plan lets you run in paid ads

Not legal advice This section quotes Creatify’s and HeyGen’s documents with their dates and reads them as an ad buyer would. Ask a lawyer before you rely on any reading here.

Paid plans on both allow ads with conditions; on Free, HeyGen bars ads and Creatify’s terms list no rights.

Creatify’s terms (effective 23 September 2024) say “Users of the Free Tier have limited rights” (s.1) and do not list them. Paid use runs “subject to the limitations and restrictions of the subscription tier”, and Creatify assigns you any copyright it holds (6.2).

A breach of Creatify’s Moderation Policy counts as a breach of the licences (6.1), and then “all rights granted to you shall revert to Creatify” (6.2). The policy bans “Fraudulent, deceptive practices, including scams, spam, or intellectual property violations” and “Any other content Creatify deems inappropriate or contrary to our values”.

HeyGen’s terms (last updated 23 July 2026) leave Creator, Pro and Business output free for “commercial purposes” (s.3), and bar Free output from “advertising” and “client work” (s.4). Section 2 bars “representing that the User Output is entirely human generated”.

HeyGen’s moderation policy (3.1) bars promoting weapons, alcohol, online gambling and commercial sex. Clause by clause: Creatify and HeyGen in the AI commercial use matrix, and are AI UGC ads legal for US rules.

Which reaches more languages with one ad?

HeyGen, on each pricing page’s own count: 175+ on paid plans against Creatify’s 75+.

HeyGen’s compare plans table lists “175 languages & dialects” for video translation on every paid plan. Lip-synced translation costs 6 credits a minute in Speed mode (credits article).

Creatify’s pricing page lists 75+ languages on Starter, while its FAQ (20 September 2026) lists 29. The page does not say whether the 75+ count depends on Video Translation, which left the dashboard in May 2026.

A fractional CMO shows the translated versions she makes in HeyGen, with the lip sync redone for each language Video: HeyGen Review: Before You Buy, Watch This (B2B Perspective), Holly Mack on YouTube, .

What happens to credits and ads when you cancel?

Creatify credits last two months and payments are final; HeyGen credits roll over one month, and a cancelled account moves to Free.

Creatify’s FAQ gives credits two months, and its refund policy (23 August 2026) says “payments are final and non-refundable”. After cancelling, the plan and credits run to the end of the period (cancellation article, 1 September 2026). An annual plan cannot be switched “until you have less than 10 credits left” (FAQ, 20 September 2026).

Creatify’s help-centre FAQ (20 September 2026) adds: “You own all of your creatives, even after your plan ends”, while terms 6.2 revert rights on a breach.

HeyGen’s pricing FAQ says a cancelled account “moves to the Free plan” and “Unused credits do not carry over”. The plans article keeps “All of your avatars, videos, and projects”. Free’s ad bar covers output “generated under a Free Plan”, so ads made while paying stay usable.
