AI ads for Shopify stores
Verdict on AI ad tools for Shopify
Start with Shopify’s own Sidekick, which makes images on every plan at no extra cost. Shopify’s terms carry no clause on using those images in ads. For video, catalogue photos or campaigns, the tools below take a product link or the store itself, with prices read by .
For video ads from a product link, at a published cost per 30 seconds:
Creatify
Avatar video bills 5 credits per 15 seconds, rounded up. Agent features use credits that cannot be known upfront.
For product photos and static ads from the catalogue:
Photoroom
Max lists a Shopify integration. The free licence is personal and non-commercial (terms 2.1.b).
For launching Meta campaigns from the same app:
Zeely
Its partner account charges 12% of spend, 6% with Booster, and runs only media made in Zeely.
For reports that put ad spend next to store revenue:
Madgicx
Its FAQ says “One-Click Report” covers Shopify with Meta, Google and TikTok. The price rises with declared spend.

What Shopify’s own AI already does
Sidekick has made images from text prompts since 6 May 2025, for “hero banners, marketing materials, and blog post illustrations” (Shopify changelog).
“Shopify Magic tools and experiences are available for free, regardless of your subscription plan”, the Help Center says. The same page lists removing a product image’s background and generating hero banners. It says nothing on how generated content may be used.
Shopify’s Terms of Service, last updated 1 August 2026, carry no clause on AI-generated output or Shopify Magic. They link no supplementary AI terms (read 2 October 2026). The documents read on 2 October 2026 neither grant nor bar running a Sidekick image as a Meta or TikTok ad.
Sidekick lives inside the Shopify admin, with no separate sign-up. Meta’s equivalent, Advantage+ creative, is covered on AI tools for Meta ads.
How this list was built
The tools differ in what they take from the store: a product URL (Creatify, Topview, Pippit, CreateUGC, Zeely) or a catalogue integration (Photoroom Max). Madgicx reads store data beside ad spend.
Video ads for Shopify stores
Each of these turns a product page into a video ad. The product video hub covers the wider category, and product photo to video the steps.
Creatify: a published cost per 30 seconds
Creatify Starter lists $39 a month; a 30-second avatar video works out at $3.90 if every credit is used (Creatify pricing). Its pricing table lists an Ad Launcher for Meta, TikTok and AppLovin.
15 of 61 sources say one product link becomes a batch of ad variations (G2 archive, r/PPC). 17 of 61 say outputs miss the brief, from lip sync to product details (Trustpilot, Trustpilot).
- Best for
- E-commerce teams making URL-to-video ads in volume who want an ad launcher for Meta, TikTok and AppLovin in the same tool.
- Skip it if
- you need a fixed monthly cost on the agent features: Creatify says their credit use cannot be known upfront.
Topview: low entry price, unpublished avatar rate
Topview Basic lists $18 a month for 50 credits, about 33 seconds of Seedance 2.5 at 720p (Topview pricing). Avatar 4 videos have no published credit rate, and credits reset with no rollover.
Free Users may not use it “for any commercial purpose, including for advertising” (terms, 9 September 2026). 33 of 73 sources say “Unlimited” plans queue for hours to days (Trustpilot, Trustpilot).
- Best for
- Teams that want product-link-to-video, product avatars and cheap generative clips under one subscription, especially on annual billing.
- Skip it if
- you need a known avatar cost: Topview publishes no credit rate for Avatar 4 videos.
Pippit: link to video inside the CapCut family
Pippit turns a product link into an editable ad with scenes, captions and voice-over. Its pricing page sets prices by region, and free output is watermarked.
The CapCut terms that govern it take a perpetual, sub-licensable licence to your content (terms s.9). 16 of 35 sources say support answers late and refunds rarely arrive (Trustpilot, Trustpilot).
- Best for
- TikTok Shop and social sellers who want link-to-video, talking photos and digital avatars inside the CapCut family, with scheduling built in.
- Skip it if
- you need a price before signing up: Pippit’s pricing page sets plans by region.
CreateUGC: about 10 videos for the Launch price
CreateUGC Launch lists $26.90 a month, stated as about 10 videos, so $2.69 a video if every credit is used; the length behind that is not stated (CreateUGC pricing). It links AutoDS’s general dropshipping terms, which never mention AI output (rights row).
- Best for
- Dropshippers and marketplace sellers testing many products who want link-to-avatar ads at a low monthly price.
- Skip it if
- you need written rights to AI output: the linked AutoDS terms never mention it.
Static ads and product photos
The static ads hub compares every image tool; these three work from your own product photo. Per-image prices and gallery rules are on AI product photography tools.
Photoroom: the Shopify integration on Max
Photoroom Max lists $34.99 a month with a Shopify integration and 3,000 exports a month (Photoroom pricing). 5 of 76 sources say batch editing and the Shopify sync save hours on catalogue jobs (Shopify App Store, aitoolshop).
- Best for
- High-volume product image clean-up and staging for catalogues and ads, from a phone or in batch, at $0.013 per export on Pro monthly.
- Skip it if
- you want to run free-plan images in ads: the free licence is personal and non-commercial (terms 2.1.b).
Flair.ai: on-model shots, in a public gallery
Flair.ai Pro+ lists $35 a month for 80 generated images, $0.44 an image if every credit is used (Flair pricing). Images made on Free, Pro and Pro+ “will show up in Flair Gallery and other Flair users may also use them in personal and commercial settings” (terms, Privacy). Only Scale keeps them private.
- Best for
- E-commerce brands needing lifestyle and on-model shots of a physical product, from a custom model trained on 6 to 10 photos.
- Skip it if
- you do not want other users reusing your product shots: only the Scale plan keeps images private.
Nano Banana: a price per image, ad rights unstated
Nano Banana 2 costs $0.067 per image at 1K on the Gemini API (Gemini API pricing). Google’s terms say only that “Google won’t claim ownership” of generated content, so ad use is unclear (rights row).
- Best for
- Editing your own product photo into new scenes, and high-volume API generation at a stated price per image ($0.067 at 1K).
- Skip it if
- you need a fixed image quota on a subscription: Google publishes no image count for any Gemini app plan.
Launching and reading ads from the store
Zeely: campaigns run for a share of spend
Zeely Starter lists $29.95 a month (Zeely pricing), and Zeely launches to Meta only.
“The fee is 12% of your ad spend”, or 6% with Booster, through its partner account (help centre, updated 17 July 2026). Only “images and videos created in Zeely” can run (launch steps).
Where clicks land is unclear. Terms 4.14 say “the audience will be directed to this pre-landing page” (terms, 18 September 2026), while the launch steps ask for your own destination link.
- Best for
- Owners without a media buyer who want creatives made and Meta campaigns launched from one app, and who accept a fee on ad spend.
- Skip it if
- you need clicks measured on your own store: terms 4.14 describe a Zeely pre-landing page, and the help centre’s steps disagree.
Madgicx: Shopify data beside ad spend
Madgicx’s pricing FAQ says “One-Click Report” covers “Meta Ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, Shopify, Klaviyo, and TikTok”. The price is set by declared monthly ad spend, starting at $45 a month (Madgicx pricing).
22 of 72 sources say the 7-day trial turned into a quarterly or annual charge (r/FacebookAds, Trustpilot).
- Best for
- Meta-heavy e-commerce advertisers who want creative tagging, reporting across Meta, Google, TikTok, Shopify and Klaviyo, and automation in one account.
- Skip it if
- you want a flat fee as spend grows: the price rises with the ad spend you declare.
AI UGC for e-commerce stores
Creator-style video for a store comes from avatar tools; the AI UGC hub compares them all. Creatify (above) takes a product link. MakeUGC adds batch variants and product-in-hand shots.
MakeUGC: batch variants, no published rate
MakeUGC Start up lists $59 a month for 500 credits; credits per video are not published and expire monthly (MakeUGC pricing). Batch Mode starts on Growth and product-in-hand on Pro. 17 of 29 sources report charges after cancelling (Trustpilot, Trustpilot).
- Best for
- Direct-response teams testing many UGC and B-roll variants, with Batch Mode from Growth and product-in-hand video from Pro or an API plan.
- Skip it if
- you need a cost per video before paying: MakeUGC publishes no credit rate, and credits expire monthly.
