Verdict on Topview

Topview suits ad teams that spend credits, since 33 of 73 sources report “unlimited” clips queuing for hours to days. On Ultra at $50 a month billed yearly, a 30-second Seedance 2.5 clip at 720p costs $3.60 if every credit is used. Billed monthly, Ultra lists $150 a month, three times its yearly rate (prices checked ).

Ad teams buying credits for product-link videos and Seedance clips who pay a year upfront, which cuts Ultra to a third of its monthly price.

What Topview makes for ads

Topview is a video agent from TopView PTE. LTD. of Singapore. You describe an idea or paste “a script, reference video, or product URL”, and its homepage says it “plans scenes, selects the right models, generates assets”.

Two of its tools start from your product. Link to Video turns an Amazon, Shopify or landing page link into a script with scenes and captions. Product Avatar makes a presenter who “can hold, point to, and explain your product” from one product image.

Topview’s plan table adds Avatar 4 talking videos of up to 180 seconds and more than 5,000 public avatars. Every plan has a TikTok Ad Library browser.

Generated clips come from Seedance, Wan, Kling, Veo and MiniMax H3 (pricing page). The homepage also offers reference video recreation, where one example prompt is to “adapt a competitor ad to your brand”.

Topview pricing per month: monthly against yearly billing

Topview’s pricing page opens on yearly billing: Ultra shows $50 a month billed yearly beside a struck-through “monthly list price” of $150 a month. Basic costs $18 a month either way (pricing page, prices checked ).

Topview plans billed monthly and yearly, from its pricing page, prices checked 1 Oct 2026
Plan Billed monthly (USD a month) Billed yearly (USD a month) Credits on the yearly card Tasks at once API on plan credits
Basic $18 $18 50 a month 4 Yes
Plus $36 $36 100 a month 4 Yes
Business $75 $44 3,000 upfront for the year 8 Yes
Ultra $150 $50 500 a month 12 No

Yearly plans are “paid in full upfront”. The old Pro plan “is no longer available for new purchases”. Unused credits on a monthly plan do not roll over, and Ultra’s yearly credits “expire at the next monthly grant” (pricing FAQ). Top-up credits last 24 months.

Every Topview plan sits beside other tools’ plans in the price tracker.

What a Topview clip costs in credits

Topview publishes a credit rate for each model and resolution. Seedance 2.5 at 720p bills 6 credits per 4 seconds, cut by 20% on Ultra and Team and 13% on Business. On Basic at $18 a month, a 30-second clip uses 45 of the plan’s 50 monthly credits. It costs $16.20 if every credit is used (pricing page, prices checked ).

The same clip on Ultra at $50 a month billed yearly uses 36 credits (pricing page). It costs $3.60 if every credit is used, under a quarter of Basic’s figure.

Topview’s own plan comparison, dated 7 August 2026, agrees: Seedance 2.5 at 720p on Ultra yearly costs $0.12 a second.

Link to Video, Product Avatar and Avatar 4 have no published credit rate, so no cost per product ad can be worked out (pricing page).

The plan table counts clips of 4 or 5 seconds over a year. Ultra’s “1,250 videos” of Seedance 2.5 at 720p are 6,000 yearly credits at 4.8 each.

Credit prices can move: Topview’s FAQ reserves “the right to update credit costs at any time, without prior notice”. To set one clip against your own plan and volume, use the AI ad cost calculator. Other ways to buy Seedance 2.5 and their rates: Seedance AI for ads.

What “unlimited” means on Topview

Topview’s “unlimited” generations spend no credits but wait in a slower queue. They run on topview.ai only, never through the API or MCP. The pricing FAQ says “Unlimited defines credit-free access, not priority speed”, and that unlimited jobs “run in the standard queue, while credit-based generations always run in the priority queue”.

The same FAQ warns that generating videos only in unlimited mode “may lower the priority of your Unlimited tasks and result in longer queue times”.

Ultra’s yearly card gives unlimited Seedance 2.5 at 720p for 30 days, with the note “wait times may be lengthy”. Team gets 60 days. On both, Wan 3.0 and MiniMax H3 run unlimited for 365 days. At most half of a plan’s concurrent tasks can run unlimited jobs (pricing page).

User reports match the warning. Of 73 public sources, 33 report unlimited clips queuing for hours to days, nearly all posted since July 2026 (Trustpilot, Trustpilot). One yearly subscriber writes that “a generation takes between one and two days to complete”. An unsponsored creator shows a 960-minute estimate for one Seedance 2.5 video.

A creator screen-records a Topview support chat that puts one unlimited Seedance 2.5 video at around 10 hours or more than a day Video: Is TopView AI’s Unlimited Seedance 2.5 (60-days) Plan worth subscribing? Honest Proof [SEP 1, 2026], SmartUps on YouTube, .
Watch out A year of Ultra buys 30 days of “unlimited” Seedance 2.5. Refunds close three days after you buy, and only while the plan’s credits are unspent (terms, Refunds).

Topview API pricing: which plan credits pay for it

Every Topview plan can call the API, but Ultra and Team plan credits cannot pay for it (pricing page). The API draws on the same credit balance as the web app (Billing Rules).

The pricing FAQ says “Basic / Plus / Pro and Business plans include both API and MCP”, while Ultra and Team plans “support both API and MCP, but their plan credits cannot be used for API calls” (pricing page).

The Billing Rules, updated 1 June 2026, warn that “for some features, the API billing methods and usage may differ slightly from those on the website”.

The video API page, updated 9 September 2026, bills Seedance 2.0 at 720p at 1 credit a second, the web rate. It lists no rate for Seedance 2.5.

Ultra and Team users pay for API calls from purchased credit packs or other eligible balances (Billing Rules). The FAQ gives 250, 600 and 1,000 credits as examples, without prices, and keeps the 1,000-credit pack for Ultra and Business yearly subscribers.

What Topview’s terms allow in ads

Not legal advice This section quotes Topview’s terms, last updated 9 September 2026, as an ad buyer reads them. Ask a lawyer before you rely on any reading here.

Topview’s terms assign you its rights in your output. A Free User may not advertise. Political ads, and ads for medical devices, medical services or pharmaceutical products, need prior written approval.

Topview’s terms on ad use and your files, last updated 9 Sep 2026
Document What it says
Terms 9 Sep 2026, Your Content and Ownership “TopView assigns to you all right, title, and interest it may have in and to the videos and other content generated for you through the Services” and “You may use your Output for any lawful purpose.”
Terms 9 Sep 2026, Prohibited Uses of the Services “Use our Services for any commercial purpose, including for advertising, if you are a Free User.”
Terms 9 Sep 2026, Prohibited Content “Advertisements for medical devices or services or pharmaceutical products without our prior written approval.” and “Political advertising (without prior written approval)”
Terms 9 Sep 2026, Digital Human and Avatar Likeness Consent “explicit, legally binding, and documented written consent from the individual(s) depicted to use their likeness”
Terms 9 Sep 2026, How We Use Content to Improve Our Models “we may by default use Your Content and Output to train, develop, and improve the artificial intelligence models and technology that power the Services”
Terms 9 Sep 2026, Account Closure and Deletion “Your Content and Output, including files, generations, and other assets stored in our systems, are retained internally on a permanent basis.”

Scroll sideways for all 2 columns

The AI commercial use matrix rates paid ads Allowed with conditions on every paid plan and Barred for a Free User. On paid plans, stock avatars in ads are Unclear: no clause covers the public avatar library.

Training stops “going forward” once Topview confirms an opt-out sent to support@topview.ai. Enterprise plans add “No training on your data” and legal indemnification, says the pricing page.

Deletion works item by item: an item you delete leaves Topview’s production systems within 30 days and its backups within 90, “except to the minimum extent we are required to retain that item by applicable law, regulation, or a binding legal order”. Closing the account keeps whatever is left “on a permanent basis” (Account Closure and Deletion).

Is Topview free? Trial and refund rules

No. Topview’s pricing page lists no free plan and no trial, and its cheapest plan is Basic at $18 a month.

The terms still name a Free User in the advertising bar above, without defining one. The homepage offers “5 WAN3 & 5 H3 FREE GENERATIONS” through Topview’s ChatGPT, Codex and Claude plugin, and the terms do not say whether that output counts as a Free User’s.

A refund is open “within three (3) days from the date of purchase”, provided the credits “have not been consumed”. Unlimited tasks already run are valued at the credits they “would otherwise have consumed and deducted from any refund” (terms, Refunds).

What 73 public sources say about Topview

Of Topview’s 73 public sources, 33 report “unlimited” queues of hours to days and 14 report credits spent on wrong or inconsistent outputs. The praise is for Canvas and Film Studio controls (9) and cheap Seedance credits (8).

Most recent reviewers are AI filmmakers who bought yearly plans for Seedance, and measured ad results rarely come up.

The sources run from 18 June 2025 to 30 September 2026: 61 Trustpilot reviews, 11 YouTube videos and one archived G2 review. Two YouTube reviews sponsored by Topview are left out, and nearly every other video carries a Topview affiliate link.

The pros count only reviews that name a feature or a price or describe a support case. One-line five-star reviews marked Invited are left out.

What are the alternatives to Topview?

Creatify, JoggAI, Pippit and invideo AI make product or avatar video ads, and each beats Topview on one documented point.

Creatify publishes a credit rate for avatar video, which Topview’s Avatar 4 lacks. A 30-second avatar ad costs $3.90 on Starter at $39 a month, if every credit is used (Creatify pricing, prices checked ). See Creatify for UGC ads.

JoggAI has a free plan: 200 one-time credits, about a minute of avatar video (JoggAI pricing). The rights matrix rates paid ads Allowed with conditions on all its plans and stock avatars in ads Unclear. See Jogg AI for product video ads.

Pippit, ByteDance’s commerce video agent, turns product links into avatar videos. Its free plan gives watermarked output and daily credits, with no number on its pricing page on 2 October 2026. The rights matrix rates its paid ads Allowed with conditions on every plan, Free included, and stock avatars Unclear. See Pippit AI product video maker.

invideo AI runs Seedance and Veo inside an edited-video agent. Its terms (4(f)) rule out training on your data, where Topview trains by default. See invideo AI for UGC ads.
