Higgsfield vs Topview

By Alexandre S. Published Last checked What changed

Verdict: Higgsfield or Topview

For many models and character tools on one balance, Higgsfield; for product-link ads at published per-model rates, Topview. On Topview Plus, 30 seconds of Seedance 2.5 costs $17.28 if every credit is used (checked ), and Higgsfield shows its cost only on the Generate button.

The catch: both “unlimited” modes queue and bar automation, and both train on uploads by default.

Higgsfield

Best for
One person in the web app who wants Kling, Veo and Seedance on one credit balance and will pay for video in credits.
Not for
Anyone automating through MCP, CLI, Canvas or the Supercomputer agent (these always spend credits), or brands that cannot let inputs and outputs train Higgsfield’s models.

Topview

Best for
Teams that want product-link-to-video, product avatars and cheap generative clips under one subscription, especially on annual billing.
Not for
Free users who want to run ads, which the terms forbid; pharma and medical-device advertisers, who need prior written approval; and anyone who needs a published avatar credit rate.

Which costs less for a Seedance clip?

Topview prices it per 4 seconds; Higgsfield shows the cost on the Generate button and publishes no rate per model.

Topview’s pricing page charges Seedance 2.5 at 720p 6 credits per 4 seconds (read 2 October 2026). Higgsfield’s help centre gives no rate: “the exact cost is shown on the Generate button”.

Method: plan price divided by plan credits, times the credits for 30 seconds. Topview bills whole 4-second units, so 30 seconds bills as 32 ($16.20 pro rata). What “unlimited” gets you on each

On both, “unlimited” runs only in the web app, in a slower queue, and stops when the plan ends.

A review of what Higgsfield’s Unlimited plan covers, set against user reports of limits and account bans Video: Higgsfield AI Influencer Review 2026: Unlimited Plan Backlash?, Apex Verdict on YouTube, .

Higgsfield’s help centre limits unlimited generation to higgsfield.ai, in a shared queue, one video or two images at a time, and calls it “for personal, human use only”. Automation, scripting and shared logins are barred. Topview’s pricing page says unlimited “is available only within the Topview web interface”, with no API or automation access.

Long waits show up on both, counted within each tool’s own sources:

  • On Topview, annual “unlimited” buyers wait hours to days per clip, nearly all since July 2026 (33 of 73 sources: Trustpilot, Trustpilot)
  • On Higgsfield, the shared queue takes 20 minutes to over two hours per job (8 of 52 sources: Trustpilot, Reddit)

Product ads or a model studio?

Topview builds ads from a product link; Higgsfield is a studio of models and character tools.

Topview turns a product link into a video with generated scenes and offers product avatars, with Avatar 4 videos up to 180 seconds. Users praise its Canvas and Film Studio controls (9 of 73 sources: Trustpilot, YouTube).

Higgsfield puts Kling, Veo, Seedance and its own Soul image models on one credit balance, beside Marketing Studio, UGC Factory and Lipsync Studio. Users value the single balance (6 of 52 sources: YouTube, YouTube) and consistent characters through Soul ID (5 of 52 sources: YouTube, Reddit).

Refunds, renewals and expiring credits

Topview refunds within 3 days and Higgsfield within 7, and both only if no credits were used.

Topview refunds only within 3 days and only if credits are unused, minus the value of any unlimited generations. Its credits never roll over: they reset monthly on monthly plans and yearly on annual ones (pricing FAQ). Credit costs can change “at any time, without prior notice”.

Higgsfield’s terms (9.3) refund within 7 days of a first payment if no credits were used, minus a fee of up to 6%. Renewals are not refunded. EEA and UK consumers are pointed to 17.2. Subscription credits expire at each renewal, and credit packs after 90 days.

Users report refusals once any credit is spent (9 of 52 Higgsfield sources, on Trustpilot).

What each does with your products and faces

Not legal advice This section quotes Higgsfield’s and Topview’s documents with their dates and reads them as an ad buyer would. Ask a lawyer before you rely on any reading here.

Both train on what you upload by default; Topview lets you opt out by email, Higgsfield only through an Enterprise Agreement.

Higgsfield’s training licence covers your inputs and outputs unless you hold an Enterprise Agreement (4.4). Deleting content stops only future use, and 16.5(c) excludes content already used to develop its models.

Topview trains on “Your Content and Output” until you email support@topview.ai. After an account closes, your content is “retained internally on a permanent basis” (terms, 9 September 2026).

Faces need consent on both. Higgsfield’s 5.3 asks for every consent and disclosure the law requires and bars biometric templates. Topview asks for explicit, documented written consent from each person shown, with proof on demand.

Clause by clause: Higgsfield and Topview in the AI commercial use matrix.

Can you run the clips in paid ads?

Yes on both paid plans, within each vendor’s rules. Higgsfield adds the model maker’s rules, and Topview bars Free Users from ads.

Higgsfield itself sets no limit on commercial use (4.4). With a third-party model, that provider’s policy also applies and “the more restrictive terms govern” (s.8); the terms do not list which models that covers. Free output carries a visible watermark, and 5.2(xi) bars presenting any output as human-generated.

Topview’s terms bar Free Users from “any commercial purpose, including for advertising”, though its pricing page shows no free plan. Ads for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, medical services or politics need its prior written approval. US rules: are AI UGC ads legal.

Failed generations still bill on both

Each count is within that tool’s own sources.

On Higgsfield, 52 public sources from January to September 2026:

  • Generations fail or run slow and still cost credits (8 of 52 sources: YouTube, Reddit)
  • The July 2026 terms gave Higgsfield a perpetual licence to outputs and uploaded faces. The clause is gone, and users still object (3 of 52 sources: YouTube, YouTube)

On Topview, 73 public sources from June 2025 to September 2026:

  • Wrong or inconsistent outputs still cost credits (14 of 73 sources: Trustpilot, Trustpilot)
  • Paid credits buy more Seedance video per dollar than rival platforms (8 of 73 sources: Trustpilot, Trustpilot)

On Trustpilot, Higgsfield shows 4.0 from 4,674 reviews (read 28 September 2026) and Topview 3.9 from 270 (read 2 October 2026). Full samples: the Higgsfield profile and the Topview profile.

If neither fits

For 40+ video models and node workflows on a plan with a free tier, Krea runs Veo, Kling and Seedance. For edited videos with stock and voice, invideo AI rules out training on your data in its terms.
