Jogg AI vs HeyGen
Verdict: JoggAI or HeyGen
Free credits without an ad ban, or three-month rollover: JoggAI; lowest list cost per Avatar III ad, or translation: HeyGen. A 30-second ad costs about $0.10 on HeyGen Creator’s Avatar III against $0.12 on JoggAI Starter, if every credit is used. JoggAI’s terms make you delete every output, delivered ads included, if it ends your account for a breach (read ).
JoggAI
- Best for
- High-volume talking-avatar output on a small budget, and teams that want the same credits in the web app, the API and agent tools.
- Not for
- Buyers who want refunds, which the terms rule out, or a firm price for generative output, which Jogg only approximates, and for premium AvatarX, which Jogg does not publish.
HeyGen
- Best for
- Localising one ad script into many languages, cheap avatar minutes for talking-head ads, and founder or spokesperson clones on a paid plan.
- Not for
- Anyone planning to run ads made on the free plan, which the terms forbid, and advertisers of alcohol, online gambling or weapons, which the moderation policy bans.

Can you run free-plan videos as ads?
On HeyGen, no. On JoggAI, the terms and pricing page set no limit, and the watermark stays on.
HeyGen’s terms (23 July 2026) bar Free Plan output from “advertising” and “client work” (section 4). Its free plan also exports with a watermark and no 1080p.
JoggAI’s terms grant use of outputs with no clause that treats free accounts differently. The pricing page names no commercial limit on the free plan either. Free downloads carry the watermark, which Starter removes, and the free plan leaves out Product Avatar and the Product Ad Tools.
The two share one rule. Neither lets you present output as “entirely human generated” (HeyGen section 2, JoggAI “License to Use the Services”). A testimonial-style ad meets the same clause on both.
The free credits are small: JoggAI’s 200 one-time credits last 31 days. Its own card puts them at about a minute of avatar video. Every free avatar tool and its ad rule: free AI UGC generators. Clause by clause: JoggAI and HeyGen in the AI commercial use matrix.
Which costs less for a 30-second ad?
HeyGen’s Avatar III, at list price on Creator, if every credit is used. JoggAI’s standard avatar undercuts only HeyGen’s Avatar IV and V.
HeyGen Creator lists $29 a month for 600 credits and JoggAI Starter $29 a month for 12,000 (HeyGen pricing, JoggAI pricing, read ). HeyGen bills avatar video by credits a minute per model (help centre). JoggAI’s Starter card puts its credits at about 100 a minute.
Neither publishes a rounding rule, so the table shows both bases.
| Plan and avatar | List price (USD a month) | Credits a minute | Pro rata | By the whole minute |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| HeyGen Creator, Avatar III | $29 | 4 | $0.10 | $0.19 |
| HeyGen Creator, Avatar IV | $29 | 31 | $0.75 | $1.50 |
| HeyGen Creator, Avatar V | $29 | 48 | $1.16 | $2.32 |
| JoggAI Starter, standard avatar | $29 | about 100 | $0.12 | $0.24 |

JoggAI’s free card states 200 credits a minute, twice the Starter card, and its AvatarX rate is not published. Both conversions are JoggAI’s own approximations.

What one Seedance clip costs on each
About the same at monthly list price, though the two sell different versions of ByteDance’s model.
HeyGen charges 60 credits for a Seedance 2.0 clip at 720p whatever its length (help centre). Its pricing page lists all advanced models on Pro, at $49 for 1,000 credits, and names none on Creator. On Pro, if every credit is used, that is the monthly price over 1,000 credits, times 60 = $2.94 a clip.
JoggAI’s yearly Starter card puts 144,000 credits at about 120 Seedance 2.5 clips of ten seconds, so about 1,200 credits a clip. At the monthly credit price that is $2.90; billed yearly, $2.40, if every credit is used.
The model itself, its routes and its own terms: Seedance.
Product avatars and URL to video
JoggAI builds product ads into its paid plans. Its pricing FAQ puts the Product Ad Tools and Product Avatar on Starter and Creator. URL to Video sits in its feature menu, and the pricing page names no plan for it.
HeyGen’s strength sits elsewhere: Creator lists 175+ languages, and 6 of 39 user sources single out translation and dubbing that localise one video (YouTube, G2).
What happens to credits and videos when the account ends?
JoggAI keeps unused credits longer; HeyGen’s terms are softer when an account ends.
JoggAI’s monthly credits roll over for up to three months, against one month on HeyGen’s monthly plans. HeyGen’s pricing FAQ adds that unused credits do not carry over once you cancel and the account moves to Free. JoggAI’s terms (“Refunds”) make payments “non-refundable, except where required by law”.
If JoggAI ends your account for a breach, its terms (“Term and Termination”, undated, read ) say you “must cease use of and delete any Outputs”. That reaches ads already delivered and running. HeyGen’s section 5 says it “may, but is not obligated to, delete any of Your Content”.
