Who pays us, and how links work
adtestbench is set up to be paid for by affiliate commission. When you buy a tool through a link marked Paid link, that tool pays us. No affiliate programme is live, so no link on the site earns anything.
The list of every tool and the sign-up links on every page check the same file to see whether a tool pays. The two cannot disagree.
Which tools pay us
Only the site’s owner edits the file that records which tools pay. When a tool starts paying, the next build marks its row Pays us and puts the Paid link label beside its sign-up links.

Tools that pay nothing are linked the same way
Tools that pay nothing get the same /go/ links and the same buttons as tools that pay. What differs is the Paid link label beside a paying tool’s links. The note at the top of each page that links tools also says whether they pay.
What the site never accepts
No vendor can buy a review, a place on a page, a rank in a list or a bench test. Gifted plans and free credits are refused too, including the free plans some affiliate programmes give their partners.
Any account the bench uses will be bought at the price checkout charges any buyer, with the list price recorded beside it. None has been bought yet.
List price is a plan’s regular price on its official pricing page, before any coupon, partner deal or limited-time offer.
Where an offer states the price it returns to, the price tracker shows that price, as on Hailuo’s Standard row. Each price is dated when it was read.
Where an offer states no later price, what the tracker shows depends on the tool. AdSpy’s row shows its introductory offer. Hailuo’s Pro row shows the regular price, though the vendor offered a lower price for a limited time. Pippit’s paid plans read “Unverified”, because every plan price on its page was a discount with no stated renewal price.
The tracker lists every plan. Its price cells do not flag an offer or a struck-through price, so check the vendor’s page before you buy.
How links work
Every link we give for signing up to or buying a tool starts with /go/. It forwards you to the tool’s official site, or to its affiliate address once we have joined that tool’s programme. Paid or not, every one of these links is marked sponsored and nofollow for search engines.
The Paid link label follows the FTC’s answers on its Endorsement Guides (June 2023). They warn that “affiliate link” alone may not tell readers the person placing it is paid. The FTC’s answer on the label: “‘Paid link’ right next to an affiliate link should be an adequate disclosure of the nature of the link” (FTC, read 26 September 2026).
Evidence links, such as a pricing page or a terms clause, go straight there, with no redirect and no tracking tag of ours.
How verdicts are decided
Until a bench round runs, verdicts rest on documents you can open yourself, as the method page sets out. A script records a fingerprint of each verdict and its tool list before anyone checks which tools pay us. A check before each release fails if either has changed since it was recorded.
