HeyGen vs Higgsfield

By Alexandre S. Published Last checked What changed

Verdict: HeyGen or Higgsfield

For presenter ads and translation, HeyGen; for generated clips across several models on one balance, Higgsfield (checked ).

HeyGen Pro ($49) bills a 720p Seedance 2.0 clip at 60 credits, $2.94, if every credit is used.

Higgsfield publishes no per-model rate beyond a June 2026 approximation. Both terms license paid-plan content for training (HeyGen s.3, Higgsfield 4.4); only Higgsfield excludes it, under an Enterprise Agreement.

What does a Seedance 2.0 clip cost on each?

On HeyGen Pro a 720p Seedance 2.0 clip costs $2.94 and a 1080p one $7.35, at $49 a month, if every credit is used. Higgsfield gives only approximations from June 2026, priced from unverified plan data.

HeyGen’s credits article (17 September 2026) bills Seedance 2.0 clips at 60 credits at 720p or 150 at 1080p “whatever the length”. Its pricing page lists “Access to all Advanced AI models” on the Pro card; the Creator card lists no advanced models.

Higgsfield’s plan prices come from its own plans data, which the rendered pricing page does not confirm. Its clip figure is about 90 credits for 15 seconds at 720p, as of June 2026 (Higgsfield post). Its credits article says “The credit cost is shown on the Generate button before you confirm”.

Business top-ups cost 5 US cents a credit (HeyGen pricing), so a 720p clip bought that way costs $3.00. Every HeyGen plan: HeyGen pricing; Higgsfield’s: Higgsfield pricing.

Presenter avatars or a model studio: what each one makes

HeyGen sells a presenter who reads your script in 175+ languages; Higgsfield sells generated scenes from several video models on one credit balance.

HeyGen runs Avatar III, IV and V at 4 to 48 credits a minute, and Video Agent at 40 (credits article). Users credit its translation and dubbing (6 of 39 sources: YouTube, G2).

The creator opens his usage page on Pro: 1,087 of 2,000 credits spent in the month, most of them on Video Agent videos Video: HeyGen Review 2026: Is It Actually Worth It? (5 Things You Need To Know), Simon Crowe on YouTube, .

Higgsfield runs Seedance, Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1 and Wan beside its own Soul image models, with Marketing Studio, UGC Factory and Lipsync Studio for ads. One login and one balance for many models is a reported pro (6 of 52 sources: YouTube, YouTube).

What each does with your content

Not legal advice This section quotes HeyGen’s and Higgsfield’s documents with their dates and reads them as an ad buyer would. Ask a lawyer before you rely on any reading here.

HeyGen’s and Higgsfield’s terms both license your content for model training on paid plans. Higgsfield excludes it under an Enterprise Agreement; HeyGen’s terms name no opt-out, and its privacy policy is not covered here.

HeyGen’s terms (last updated 23 July 2026) license your content on Creator, Pro and Business “including to train or otherwise improve or modify our artificial intelligence and machine learning models” (s.3). Section 4, for the Free plan, grants HeyGen no content licence and does not mention training.

Higgsfield’s terms (last updated 26 July 2026) say “Your Content, Inputs, and Outputs may be used by Company to train, develop, enhance, evolve, and improve its (and its affiliates’) AI models” (4.4). Only an Enterprise Agreement excludes this. Deleting content stops future use, and 16.5(c) excludes content already used.

On provenance, HeyGen bars “representing that the User Output is entirely human generated” (s.2), and Higgsfield bars representing “that any Output is human-generated when it is not” (5.2(xi)). Per plan and use: HeyGen and Higgsfield in the AI commercial use matrix.

What marks the videos, on free and paid plans?

HeyGen and Higgsfield both watermark free output; Higgsfield’s paid output can still carry invisible AI markers, and HeyGen’s Free output cannot run as an ad at all.

HeyGen Free exports carry a watermark with no 1080p (pricing page), and section 4 of the terms bars Free output from “advertising” and “client work”.

Higgsfield’s watermark article puts a visible watermark on free output, and its terms (4.1) bar removing it. Paid plans drop the visible mark; the watermark article says invisible machine-readable markers “may remain”, and 6.4 of the terms cites C2PA-style provenance.

Meta says it reads C2PA and IPTC signals to label AI content (Meta), and TikTok reads C2PA Content Credentials (TikTok); more in the AI ad disclosure rules.
