Meta’s AI ad-creative tools reached close to 10 million advertisers in the third quarter. Finance chief Susan Li gave the figure on the earnings call on Wednesday 21 October 2026, PPC Land reports from the transcript; the press release and slides left it out.

Li also gave a number for partnership ads (an ad a brand runs from a creator’s or another business’s account): revenue up more than 97 per cent on a year earlier, past $15 billion a year at the current pace.

Meta is adding AI to that side too. Meta AI Business Assistant is joining the Creator Marketing Hub, now open to every advertiser with more than 10 million creators listed, “so advertisers can conversationally search for creators,” Li said, Social Media Today reports.

Meta’s generative tools in Ads Manager include background generation, image expansion and text variations. Meta’s own posts state no separate fee for them: you pay for the ads (our Advantage+ creative guide, data checked 23 September).

The AI tools nearly 10 million advertisers use carry no separate fee, so Meta earns from them only through ad spend, while the fastest growth it reported on this call came from creator partnership ads.
