What Flair.ai makes for product ads

Flair.ai stages a product photo in generated scenes and on generated models. Its FAQ lists branded product images, short AI videos, custom product or human models and a drag-and-drop scene builder.

A custom model trains on 6 to 10 consistent photos of the product. Standard training takes about 3 hours; Instant (Beta) is immediate, and the FAQ calls it “Lower quality and accuracy”.

A “Regenerate Product” tool redraws the product inside a scene to fix “product distortion or proportion issues” (FAQ).

What Flair.ai costs per image and per ad

Flair.ai bills in generated images, and an ad generation uses four of them: the Free, Pro+ and Scale cards say “Instant image generation and Ad generation cost 4x times the generated image quota” (pricing page).

Pro+ lists 80 images for $35 a month: $0.44 per image if every image is used (pricing page, ). That makes 20 ad generations at $1.75 each. Scale Tier 1 lists 150 images for $55 a month: $0.37 an image and $1.47 an ad generation, if every image is used.

Scale Tier 1 costs less per image than Pro+ and is the plan the terms keep private. The four larger Scale tiers, 200 to 540 images, work out at $0.37 to $0.38 an image monthly: more images at Tier 1’s rate.

Pro, at $10 a month, lists no image count (pricing page). The FAQ says only “Monthly credits”, so Pro has no per-image figure.

Video is scarce: Pro lists 2 video generations a month, Pro+ 3 and the first Scale tier 5 (pricing page). For video ads by length, see the AI ad cost calculator.

Watch out Flair’s FAQ says “unused image or model credits do not roll over”, and after cancelling “any unused credits expire” at the end of the billing cycle.

$0.44 per image at list price on Pro+ at $35 a month, if every credit is used. Pro+ monthly: $35 / 80 generated images = $0.44 ($26 / 80 = $0.325 on annual billing). Ad generations and instant generations use 4x the quota, so one ad generation on Pro+ costs 4 x $0.4375 = $1.75 monthly ($1.30 annual). Scale Tier 1: $55 / 150 = $0.37 monthly, $38 / 150 = $0.25 annual.

Is there a Flair AI free trial?

Flair’s FAQ answers yes: the trial is the Free plan. Its pricing card lists 5 generated images, 1 custom model and 1 video generation, and one ad generation uses four of the five images. Free-tier images belong to Flair and go to its public gallery (next section).

Who owns Flair images, and who else can use them?

Not legal advice This section quotes Flair’s Terms of Service (Last Updated 19 July 2024) and its FAQ. Ask a lawyer before you rely on any reading here.

Under Flair’s Terms of Service, you own images made on the appropriate paid plan and Flair owns Free ones, and only Scale images are private. “Under the appropriate paid plan, you own all Assets you create”; Free Tier Assets “are owned by Flair AI”, and you “irrevocably transfer and assign” them to it.

The Privacy paragraph says that after 28 February 2025, Free, Pro and Pro+ images “will show up in Flair Gallery and other Flair users may also use them in personal and commercial settings”.

The Privacy paragraph of Flair AI's Terms of Service: only images created under the Scale plan are private; after 28 February 2025, images made on the Free, Pro and Pro+ plans show up in Flair Gallery, where other Flair users may use them in personal and commercial settings; to be the only person with a commercial licence to an image, create it while subscribed to the Scale plan

The FAQ agrees: below Scale, “public showcasing is part of the terms of service”. The gallery is public at community.flair.ai. The Enterprise card lists “Everything in Pro+”, and the terms do not say whether Enterprise images stay out of the gallery.

The terms contradict themselves twice: on commercial use of Free images, and on which plan makes an image exclusive.

Flair’s terms on who may use and own an image, Last Updated 19 Jul 2024
Clause What it says
Free Tier (commercial use) “license to use all Assets you create with the Services for your personal or commercial use”
Paid Subscriptions (commercial use) “You must have a paid Flair plan to use Flair images commercially.”
Paid Subscriptions (exclusivity) “If you’d like to be the only person with a commercial license to an image then you must create that image while subscribed to a paid plan.”
Privacy (exclusivity) “If you’d like to be the only person with a commercial license to an image then you must create that image while subscribed to the Scale plan.”

Paid Subscriptions counts “video with advertising” as commercial use, with Pro for “an individual creator” and Pro+ for “teams of 2 or more people”. The AI commercial use table rates paid ads Unclear on Free, Allowed with conditions on Pro and Pro+, and Allowed on Scale.

The terms read “Last Updated: July 19th, 2024” while describing the 28 February 2025 gallery change.

The terms say nothing about training on your uploads.

What 24 user reviews say about Flair.ai

Our synthesis of Flair.ai reviews counts 24 public sources, dated 12 August 2025 to 19 September 2026. They are 19 of Trustpilot’s reviews, 2 YouTube reviews, 2 Reddit threads and a Shotkit review.

Credits draw the most complaints, in 8 of 24 sources. They run out after a few images or go on failed generations, and some users report charges after cancelling. One writes that “credits are still deducted even when no image is produced” (Trustpilot, 20 February 2026).

The praise, in 6 of 24 sources, treats Flair as a cheap stand-in for a studio shoot. One reviewer used it to “redo the photos on my website with flair ai for less than 1/100th” (Trustpilot, 12 August 2025).

A creator runs a phone photo of a product through background removal onto a generated scene, then shows the AI model and custom model tools Video: This $8 AI Tool Is Replacing Product Photographers (Flair AI), Apexa AI on YouTube, .

The 12 August 2025 review is one of six short five-star Trustpilot reviews in the sample, all dated 12 to 28 August 2025. The 12 Trustpilot reviews since then give one to three stars. Trustpilot showed a TrustScore of 2.3 from 34 reviews on 28 September 2026.

No source reports running Flair images as paid ads, and none discusses the licence tiers.

What are the alternatives to Flair AI?

Photoroom, Pebblely and Claid.ai each cost less per image than Flair’s Pro+ at list price, if each plan’s quota is used in full. Of the three, only Pebblely’s terms say you own the images you generate.

Photoroom cleans up and stages your own product photos. Its Pro plan lists $12.99 a month, $0.013 per image if every export is used (pricing page). Its terms give you what you submit (2.2.a). They never say who owns generated images, so the AI commercial use table rates owning the output Unclear. Free accounts are non-commercial (2.1.b); more in Photoroom for product photos.

Pebblely puts packshots on lifestyle backgrounds in bulk. Its terms say “You own the images you generate and can use them however you want.” The Pro plan lists $39 a month, $0.078 per image if every image is used (pricing page).

Claid.ai makes catalogue-scale product and on-model shots, automated through an API. Its terms say “WE CLAIM NO OWNERSHIP RIGHTS OVER YOUR CONTENT” without defining generated outputs, and the AI commercial use table rates owning the output Unclear. The Pro plan lists $49 a month, $0.098 a Standard Quality image if every credit is used (pricing page).
