AdCreative.ai for ads
Verdict on AdCreative.ai
AdCreative.ai fits a team that downloads 10 to 50 static ads a month and needs no written ownership of them. Each download spends a credit, so Starter at $39 a month is $3.90 a download if every credit is used (pricing, ). But only the Enterprise terms say Projects “based on the Contents provided by the Client will be owned by the Client” (7.1).
AdCreative.ai
- Best for

- Not for
- Anyone needing written ownership of outputs without an Enterprise contract, or more than 10 downloads a month on Starter’s base tier.

What AdCreative.ai makes for ads
AdCreative.ai’s homepage offers “studio-style UGC videos from product photos”. Creative Scoring AI promises to “Score your ad creatives before advertising”; the homepage does not say how.
Designs may repeat across accounts: terms 3.2 say “other users may receive similar results from the Services”.
What an AdCreative.ai ad costs, per download
AdCreative.ai’s FAQ says “credits are only consumed when you download them”. Its terms are wider: “Generating or downloading a Project may requires the consumption of a Credit or some Credits” (terms 1.3).
Whether unused credits carry over is unclear: a plan-card tooltip says “Unused downloads roll over to the next month”, while terms 4.6 say “The Credit not used during the applicable month will not be transferred to the following month”.
If they lapse, the fewer you download, the more each costs: 4 downloads on Starter at $39 a month cost $9.75 each (pricing).
More credits do not always cost less per download. Starter’s 15-credit tier, with a second brand, is $89 a month: $5.93 a download if every credit is used (pricing, ).

What AdCreative.ai’s terms allow, and who owns the ads
AdCreative.ai’s subscriber terms grant no ownership of your downloads (7.1); on our reading, 7.3 makes AdCreative.ai “and/or its licensor” owner of “any work derived from the use of this Services”. Enterprise 7.1 gives the client Projects “based on the Contents provided by the Client”.
| Clause | What it says |
|---|---|
| 2.1 subscriber terms | “a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Services and applicable documentation solely for Customer’s internal business purposes” |
| 7.1 subscriber terms | Elements “provided through the Services, including […] lay-out […] graphics and/or animation, except for elements provided by third parties (i.e., images from iStock)”, “shall remain the sole and exclusive property of AdCreative.ai” |
| 7.1 Enterprise terms | “However, the Projects generated by the Services based on the Contents provided by the Client will be owned by the Client.” |
| 10.1 subscriber terms | You permit use of account “Ad Data” “exclusively for the purpose of the Services (including but not limited to […] training, developing, and improving our artificial intelligence systems and solutions)” |

On our reading, 2.1’s “internal business purposes” leaves client work unclear; the AI commercial use table marks it unclear on every self-serve plan.
Clause 2.2(f) bars using the service “for any competitive or benchmark purposes”, “except to the limited extent applicable laws specifically prohibit such restriction”.
What AdCreative.ai’s documents say on renewal and refunds after a trial
AdCreative.ai’s homepage offers a “7 day free trial” with 10 credits and says “Cancel anytime in 2 clicks”. Its terms never mention a free trial, and neither document says whether the trial needs a card.
Plans renew “under the exact same conditions” unless cancelled. The “cancellation timeframe is within seven (7) days before the end date of your monthly cycle” on monthly plans, and “within thirty (30) days before the anniversary date of your Subscription” on annual ones (4.2). Whether that means at least that long before, or only during it, is unclear.
Refunds are discretionary: AdCreative.ai “may decide to grant refunds to the Customer who subscribed but did not use the Service” (4.7). The request must be written, emailed to contact@AdCreative.ai and received “Within seven (7) days of the Subscription date” on monthly plans, or thirty on annual ones.
The FAQ also takes refund requests by live chat, which 4.7 does not list. It counts “generating creatives” as use, so on our reading, generating during the trial can already cost you the refund.
Is AdCreative.ai legit?
AdCreative.ai is provided by ADYOUNEED SAS, in Appier’s group (terms); 4 of its latest 20 Trustpilot reviews report post-trial charges.
Appier announced on 12 February 2025 an agreement to buy AdCreative.ai “for a total of 38.7 million USD, including a 27.3 million USD base” (PR Newswire). For US customers, 4.4.3 names Woopra Inc., an ADYOUNEED SAS affiliate, as a possible payment collection agent.
Trustpilot displayed 4,544 reviews and a TrustScore of 3.4 on 25 September 2026, 55 per cent of them five-star and 33 per cent one-star. Review 14 calls the cancellation page “deliberately misleading”.

AdCreative.ai replied to all five one-star reviews (12 to 14, 18 and 19), saying in four that the refund was processed. Twenty reviews are too few to show a trend.

How The Brief, Predis.ai and Pencil (trypencil.com) bill, and who owns the ads
Without an Enterprise contract, The Brief is the one of these three whose self-serve terms give written ownership. Its AI Supplementary Terms say “you retain all right, title, and interest in your Input and Output”. Its plans are flat, with no credits; Pro lists AI use as “included for normal use”.
Predis.ai prices images in credits; its Core card reads “About 325 images” for 1,300 credits, and the pricing page no longer publishes a rate per image. Its terms have no clause on who owns generated images.
Pencil counts generations. On Core it “retains sole ownership” of the Outputs and grants a licence “to use the Outputs as part of Customer’s ordinary commercial operations” (Core terms 3.1 and 3.2).

What changed on this page
- Cut repeats: the Trustpilot sentence restating the opener’s 4 of the latest 20 reviews, and the pros line restating the trial section. The meta description gives the price check date the page prints: “Prices checked 23 September 2026”.
- The Not for line in the verdict is shorter and names the 10 downloads a month on Starter’s base tier. The terms section now quotes subscriber clause 7.3.
