Verdict on AdCreative.ai alternatives

For flat billing and written ownership of the ads, try The Brief: Pro lists $39 a month, like AdCreative.ai Starter. AdCreative.ai Starter costs $3.90 a download if every credit is used, and only its Enterprise terms (7.1) grant ownership (pricing, its terms, ).

But The Brief may train on Pro content unless you opt out or agree otherwise, and its pricing sets no usage cap (AI terms, pricing).

For ad design on flat plans sold with “no credits”: The Brief (formerly Creatopy)

Pro includes AI image, video, copy, resize for normal use; its AI terms leave you all rights in Output.

Nano Banana 2 costs 0.7 generations an image, Nano Banana Pro 2.4, plus agent work. Pencil (trypencil.com) owns Core outputs.

For plan credits that roll over month to month: Omneky

Credits roll over every month until you cancel, but the ad licence runs only during the Term (4.2).

For ad campaigns automated on a self-serve entry plan: Blaze (blaze.ai)

Starter lists Automated ad campaigns; whether they need written consent under terms 7(ix)(C) is unclear.

What AdCreative.ai’s pricing and terms say before you switch

Not legal advice This page quotes each vendor’s terms and says, on our reading, what they mean for a buyer.

AdCreative.ai’s pricing FAQ says credits are “only consumed when you download them”, so Starter’s 10 credits cover 10 finished ads a month, though its terms say generating “may” use credits too (1.3).

The next tier, 15 credits, costs $89 a month: $10 for each extra download if every credit is used.

Whether unused credits carry over is unclear. A tooltip on every plan card says “Unused downloads roll over to the next month” (pricing). Clause 4.6 of the subscriber terms (19 December 2025) says “The Credit not used during the applicable month will not be transferred to the following month”.

The same subscriber terms grant access “solely for Customer’s internal business purposes” (2.1) and claim “any work derived from the use of this Services” (7.3(a)). Only the Enterprise terms say Projects “will be owned by the Client” (7.1).

Clause 4.2 renews a plan unless the “cancellation timeframe is within seven (7) days before the end date of your monthly cycle”; whether that is a window or a notice period is unclear. Refunds are discretionary, only for customers who “did not use the Service” (4.7).

More of its terms: AdCreative.ai for ads and its AI commercial use rows.

What 10 ads a month cost on each entry plan

At 10 ads a month, Pencil Core and Picsart Pro cost least per unit, though Picsart’s unit is a bare image. Only Blaze Starter costs more than AdCreative.ai.

From 11 ads, AdCreative.ai’s next listed tier costs more than any entry plan here. Its terms also sell extra credits “by paying an additional fee” (4.6), priced on none of the pages we read.

Each figure is the list price divided by 10; the AI ad tool price tracker lists every higher tier.

The Brief: flat plans sold with “no credits”

The Brief (formerly Creatopy) Pro lists $39 a month, with AI “image, video, copy, resize” included for normal use. Its FAQ publishes no cap and says The Brief steps in only “in rare cases of sustained, extreme activity” (pricing page).

Its AI terms (1 October 2025) say “you retain all right, title, and interest in your Input and Output”.

Meta and Google Ads publishing starts on Ultra, at $99 a month; Team, from two seats, has it too (pricing page). The AI terms never name Ultra, so whether The Brief may reuse or train on Ultra content is unclear (rights rows).

Pencil (trypencil.com): a rate for each model, with agent work on top

Pencil (trypencil.com) prices each model in generations: 0.7 for a Nano Banana 2 image, 2.4 for Nano Banana Pro (help centre). Core lists $14 a month for 50 generations (pricing page), so a Nano Banana 2 image costs $0.196 if every credit is used.

Agent work bills on top. Pencil’s own example of 4 static concepts comes to 4.5 generations an image: $1.26 on Core if every credit is used.

Pencil’s Core terms (22 April 2026) say it “retains sole ownership” of the Outputs (3.1) and grant you a “perpetual” licence to use them (3.2). Yet 13.1(b) ends “any and all licences, permissions and authorisations granted to Customer” on termination. Whether that licence survives through 13.3, the survival clause, is unclear, as we read it.

Omneky: credits that roll over, and a licence for the term only

Omneky Lite lists $29 a month for 200 credits at 5 credits per 1K image (pricing page): $0.73 an image if every credit is used. Its FAQ says credits “rollover every month until you cancel your account”.

Section 1.6 of Omneky’s Services Agreement (27 August 2025) says you own “any Input and Output, to the extent protectable under applicable law”, but 4.2 says Omneky “shall own” all work product, “including advertisements and creatives”.

Its licence back, once fees are paid, runs “during the Term” and “solely for Customer’s own advertising campaigns”, so whether you can run the ads after cancelling is unclear, as we read it.

The pricing page says “Start free for 7 days. Cancel anytime.” Services Agreement 3.1 sets an initial term of “one (1) year”, renewed yearly unless either party gives written notice “at least thirty (30) days prior to the end of the then-current term”. Which governs a monthly Lite plan is unclear.

Blaze (blaze.ai) vs AdCreative.ai: a campaign tool against a banner generator

Blaze (blaze.ai) writes and posts social content; its Starter card lists “Automated ad campaigns” and $79 a month for 600 credits, 1 per static post (pricing page).

On monthly billing, Blaze Starter costs more than AdCreative.ai Starter at 10 ads a month. From 11 up to its 600 credits it costs less than AdCreative.ai’s listed tiers, counting a static post as one ad (the 10-ads table).

Blaze’s AI Terms (14 August 2023) say “Input and Output are your Customer Data”.

Almanac Labs trades as Blaze.ai, and its Terms of Service (11 March 2025) bar “any action” or content “on or through the Service” that “involves commercial activities and/or sales, such as contests, sweepstakes, barter, advertising, or pyramid schemes without Almanac’s prior written consent” (7(ix)(C)).

On our reading, that clause could reach the ad campaigns Starter sells, so whether they need Almanac’s written consent is unclear.

Picsart and Google’s API: Nano Banana Pro near Google’s own price

Google charges $0.134 for a 1K Nano Banana Pro image on its API (Gemini API pricing). Picsart Pro lists $15 a month for 500 credits, and its pricing page data charges 5 credits for a 1K Nano Banana Pro image. That is $0.15 if every credit is used, about 1.1 times Google’s rate.

The same pricing page data lists a second 1K Nano Banana Pro route at 3 credits. That is $0.09 if every credit is used, about two-thirds of Google’s rate. It does not say which Picsart tool uses that route.

Only the Ultra card, from $47 a month per seat, lists “Create ad variations & localize” and “Track ads performance” (pricing page).

Picsart’s Generative AI terms (archived 14 April 2026) say “You may use the Output for any legal purpose”.

Google’s terms say it “won’t claim ownership”; on our reading they neither grant nor limit ad use, so on the API that use is unclear (Google’s rights rows).

Left out, and why

We left out Photoroom, which its homepage calls an “AI-Powered Photo Editor and Listing Studio for Product Photography”.

Predis.ai is out because its documents settle neither question this page asks. Its pricing page Core card reads “About 325 images” for 1,300 credits, but its FAQ says only “Each type of content and the model used has a different credit cost”. Its terms never mention generated output.

Canva is out because we could not read its prices (last question). The AI static ad generators hub covers every static ad tool we track.

Questions buyers ask about AdCreative.ai alternatives

Is there a free AdCreative.ai alternative?

Yes, with limits: Picsart’s free plan gives 5 credits a week, enough for one 1K Nano Banana Pro image (pricing page data).

The Brief’s FAQ says an account that stops after its trial “moves to the Free plan”. There its AI terms give The Brief a “perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, sublicensable, royalty-free license” to your Output that “continues even after” you leave.

Pencil’s pricing page offers six ads free through a guided sign-up.

Do AdCreative.ai credits roll over?

Unclear: a plan-card tooltip says they do, and terms clause 4.6 says unused Credits “will not be transferred”. Omneky’s credits roll over; Pencil’s and Picsart’s plan credits expire each cycle.

Is Canva a good AdCreative.ai alternative?

Maybe, if your team already designs ads there; we could not read its prices on 23, 24 or 25 September 2026.

Its AI Product Terms (26 June 2026, archived) say you own your Output “except for any Output that modifies or incorporates Licensed Content”.

What changed on this page

  • The fit lines under The Brief and Picsart are cut, and the verdict’s first job label takes curly quotes. The Brief’s Meta and Google Ads publishing and Picsart’s Ultra ad features return in their sections. Omneky’s one-year term clause and a free plan column in the key table are added, and the Predis.ai credit figures are corrected.
