How to cancel Higgsfield

Higgsfield sells plans on its website only. Its help centre says “Higgsfield has no mobile apps and no desktop app”, so every individual plan cancels in the browser (official platforms, modified 24 September 2026).

The steps, from the cancel article:

1. Sign in at higgsfield.ai and open the menu under your avatar.
2. Choose Manage Account, then Subscription.
3. Scroll to Plan Settings and open Manage Subscription.
4. Select Show, then Cancel Subscription.

The terms name the same page differently. Section 10.3 says you cancel by “visiting the ‘Payment Setting’ page of your Account” (terms, 26 July 2026). The help article, modified 22 September 2026, is the newer of the two documents. Section 10.3 also accepts a cancellation emailed to support@higgsfield.ai from your account’s address.

Team and Scale plans cancel elsewhere. Only the workspace Owner can cancel them, from the workspace’s “Organization settings”.

An app store charge points to someone else. Higgsfield’s platforms article says “Any downloadable app that presents itself as Higgsfield is a copy”. If Apple or Google bills you for a “Higgs” app, that subscription belongs to another developer. You cancel it in your phone’s store settings, and Higgsfield’s refund rules do not apply to it.

Cancel before your renewal date. Terms 10.2 renew a subscription automatically until you cancel, and 10.4 gives “No prorated refunds” for the term already started.

What happens to your credits

Monthly credits from your plan end with the period. You keep using them until the paid month runs out; after that they “expire permanently”, per the cancel article.

Credits you bought on top get more time. The cancel article says credit packs, Auto-Refill and Boost credits stay usable on the free plan until their 90-day validity ends.

Higgsfield’s own credit article disagrees with itself here. Its body says pack credits “stay available on the free plan”. Its FAQ says pack credits “are unavailable until you reactivate” (top-up credits article). If you hold a large pack, spend it before the paid period ends.

Unlimited windows stop on the day the subscription ends, even mid-window. Reactivate before the window’s end date and access returns (how Higgsfield Unlimited works).

Users report losing credits this way. Six of 52 sources name credits that expired at renewal or on cancelling (Trustpilot, YouTube).

Can you get a refund?

Only on a first payment, inside 7 days, with no credits spent. Terms 9.3 allow a refund “within seven (7) days of your initial purchase”, “provided no Credits (defined below) have been used”. Renewals are not refundable.

What counts as use is narrow. Logging in, browsing models and opening the interface do not count (unused subscription article). Free generations and Unlimited generations do not count either. One credit spent ends eligibility, however many remain.

To ask, use the contact form at higgsfield.ai/contact with four details (refund article):

• the email address on your account
• the date you paid
• the amount charged
• a short reason

Processing takes up to 3 business days (refund article). Terms 9.3 allow a service fee of up to 6 per cent where the law permits. Once approved, your plan is cancelled at once and the account drops to the free tier that day.

The same rule covers credit packs and Auto-Refill charges: 7 days, none of that pack’s credits used. Add-ons that grant access, such as an Unlimited bundle, are “non-refundable once the access is granted”.

Two exceptions sit outside the 7 days, per the refund article. If Higgsfield “significantly degrades” a paid plan or shuts down a paid feature, you can cancel and recover the unused part. If Higgsfield closes your account through no fault of yours, unused fees and purchased credits come back, promo credits excepted.

Users report the rule in force. Nine of 52 sources describe refunds refused once any credit was used, accidental annual purchases and trial renewals among them (Trustpilot, Reddit). Eight report upgrades charged in one click, and charges after cancelling (Reddit, Reddit).

Cancelling an annual plan

An annual plan runs to the end of its paid year. The downgrade article says switching from annual to monthly “isn’t available”, and the unused remainder is not refunded (plan changes article, modified 14 September 2026).

So cancelling a yearly plan only stops next year’s charge. Annual credits reset every 30 days, and 10.4 lets you keep using the subscription until the current term ends. Read together, the 30-day credit drops run on until the year ends.

Outside the EEA and UK, the first week is the only way out. Bought within the last 7 days with no credits used, an annual plan qualifies under 9.3 like any first payment. Where the law requires it, section 10.1 has Higgsfield send a renewal reminder on annual plans.

Downgrade instead of cancelling

A smaller plan keeps your account active. Downgrade from the comparison section of the pricing page, below the main plan cards. The help article says “Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle”, and your current credits stay usable to the renewal date.
