MakeUGC pricing

By Alexandre S. Published Prices checked

MakeUGC sells AI ad videos for credits, a monthly balance each video draws down. Starter costs $59 a month for 500 credits (pricing page). Its API docs charge 100 credits for each talking-actor video (credit costs), so Starter makes five a month, or $11.80 per video each if every credit is used.

The lowest cost per video is Growth billed yearly, $3.90 each if every credit is used. A longer billing period cuts the price far more than a bigger plan does.

There is no free plan: every plan starts with a $1 trial that renews at the full price.

What one ad costs

Method: $11.80 per video at list price on Starter at $59 a month, if every credit is used. Starter 59 dollars a month / 500 credits = 0.118 dollars a credit; POST /video/generate costs 100 credits per talking-actor video, scripts up to 1,500 characters (makeugc.ai/docs/api/v1/rate-limits, read 9 October 2026), and API calls draw on the plan’s credits (pricing FAQ) = 11.80 dollars, if every credit is used. Pro at 149 dollars for 2,000 credits gives 7.45 dollars. The app pricing page publishes no per-video rate.

A talking-actor video costs the same 100 credits whatever its length, up to a script of 1,500 characters (credit costs). So a 15-second hook and a 30-second ad use one video’s worth each.

cost per talking-actor video by plan and billing period, at 100 credits a video, if every credit is used
Plan Videos a month Billed monthly Billed quarterly Billed yearly
Starter 500 credits 5 $11.80 $8.20 $5.80
Growth 1,000 credits 10 $7.90 $5.50 $3.90
Pro 2,000 credits 20 $7.45 $5.20 $3.95

Pro’s card also offers 3,000 and 5,000 credits a month, but the page prints no price for those tiers.

Two things move these numbers. The first is the app: the pricing FAQ says each generation “costs credits based on its model, duration and resolution” and prints no rate per video, so the flat 100 is the API’s figure.

The second is product-in-hand video, where an actor holds your product. On the Omi-Human model it costs 100 credits under 15 seconds and 200 from 15 to 30 seconds (credit costs). Starter then covers two 30-second product clips a month.

Credits “refresh monthly and do not roll over” (pricing FAQ), so a quiet month is money lost. The same balance pays for API and MCP calls (MCP lets an AI assistant such as Claude run MakeUGC for you).

What the one-dollar trial turns into

The trial is a $1 charge that becomes a full subscription unless you cancel. The FAQ puts it plainly: “Your checkout shows the trial duration and renewal amount for your billing period. It renews at the plan price unless you cancel from your account” (pricing FAQ).

Pricing questions

What does “Start for $1” mean? Choose a plan and try it for $1. Your checkout shows the trial duration and renewal amount for your billing period. It renews at the plan price unless you cancel from your account.

How do credits work? Each generation costs credits based on its model, duration and resolution. Credits are shared across the studio and API, refresh monthly and do not roll over.

Can I change or cancel my plan? You can manage your subscription in account settings. Cancel anytime to stop the next renewal; access continues until the end of the paid period.

MakeUGC’s pricing FAQ on the $1 trial: checkout shows the trial length and renewal amount, and it renews at the plan price unless cancelled. MakeUGC, Pricing questions: What does "Start for $1" mean?,

MakeUGC states no trial length. Its checkout routes are labelled “trial72h” on the monthly cards and “trial24h” on the quarterly and yearly cards (pricing page). By those labels, the trial runs 72 hours on monthly billing and 24 hours on the others. The short one matters most, because a yearly trial renews into the whole year at once.

The trial policy took effect on 2 January 2026. It allows one trial per person or business, and a second trial on the same card counts as abuse (2.1, 3.2).

If MakeUGC decides you have taken a second trial, it charges “100% of the applicable monthly subscription fee” at once, with no refund (4.2, 4.5; trial policy).

Trial Policy

2.1 The $1 Trial is strictly limited to one (1) trial per individual or per legal entity, whether acting personally, professionally, or on behalf of a business.

3.2 Prohibited conduct includes using the same or linked credit or debit card, billing address, or payment location, and using VPNs, proxies, or tunnelling services.

4.1 Where the Company determines, acting reasonably, that Trial Abuse or circumvention has occurred or is likely to have occurred, the Company reserves the right to immediately charge the full monthly subscription fee applicable to the plan selected at signup.

4.5 No refunds, chargebacks, or reversals shall be issued in respect of Penalty Charges arising from Trial Abuse.

MakeUGC’s trial policy: one $1 trial per person or company, and a suspected second one is charged the full monthly fee at once. MakeUGC, Trial Policy: one trial and the penalty charge,

The policy states no trial length and no trial credit count, and lets MakeUGC withdraw the trial “at any time” (8.1).

Three of 29 public reviews say the trial’s credits are too few to judge the tool. They also say it rolls into a full-price plan (Trustpilot, Trustpilot). One says they are “not enough to create even a single complete video”.

How to cancel, and what MakeUGC refunds

Cancel in account settings before the trial ends. The FAQ says cancelling “stop[s] the next renewal” and access runs to the end of the paid period (pricing FAQ).

Billing after cancelling is the most common complaint about MakeUGC. Seventeen of 29 public reviews report charges after cancelling, or cancellations that failed or needed an email (Trustpilot, Trustpilot). Keep the confirmation email when you cancel.

The refund policy (last updated 4 September 2025) sets three windows:

  • Within three business days of a payment or renewal: a full refund, “provided credits have not been substantially consumed” (3.1).
  • Under half the credits used: “50% refund of the subscription value may be granted”; at half or more, nothing (3.2).
  • After two weeks active, or on a plan older than a month: no refund (3.3).

Refund Policy

3.1 100% Refund Window: Notify us within three (3) business days of your purchase or renewal for a full refund, provided credits have not been substantially consumed.

3.2 Under 50% Credits Used: 50% refund of the subscription value may be granted. 50% or more Credits used: No refund will be provided.

3.3 Over 2 Weeks Active: No refunds permitted. Over 1 Month Old: Plans older than one month are strictly non-refundable.

4.1 Refund requests must be submitted via Email: help@makeugc.ai (the exclusive valid address).

MakeUGC’s refund policy: a full refund within three business days if credits are not substantially used, a half refund under 50% usage, none after two weeks. MakeUGC, Refund Policy: eligibility and windows,

Requests go to help@makeugc.ai, which the policy calls “the exclusive valid address” (4.1). A refund closes the account for good: credits are revoked and “All videos/projects are permanently deleted” (5). Download every video before you ask. The terms make other payments non-refundable except where the law requires it (6.3).

Five of 29 reviews say support is hard to reach and refunds arrive in part or not at all (Trustpilot, Trustpilot).

What each plan adds beyond credits

Starter renders one video and one image at a time and exports at 480p or 720p. It includes no custom avatar and no extra seats, with email-only support (plan comparison).

MakeUGC's three plan cards in the yearly view: Starter 500 credits a month with 1 video and 1 image at a time, 480p and 720p export and no Batch Mode; Growth 1,000 credits, 10 parallel jobs, HD to 4K, Batch Mode and 1 custom avatar; Pro 2,000 to 5,000 credits, unlimited parallel jobs and 3 custom avatars

Product-in-hand video, motion control and API access come with Starter all the same. The plan comparison table marks Batch Mode and voice cloning from Growth up.

Growth is the first plan with HD to 4K export. It adds 10 videos rendering at once, one custom avatar of yourself, 3 seats and 200 promo credits. For ads shown on large screens, the 720p cap alone can rule Starter out.

Pro lifts the parallel limit entirely and adds three custom avatars, 5 seats, priority chat and the full model list. Enterprise is sales-led, with custom credits, a creative strategist and volume API pricing.

Is there a MakeUGC promo code?

MakeUGC’s pricing pages publish no coupon code and no coupon field. The discount MakeUGC publishes is longer billing: yearly cards save 47 to 51 per cent on the monthly price (pricing page).

A second page, makeugc.ai/pricing-50-off, sits in MakeUGC’s sitemap with “50% OFF” tags on every card. Its prices and checkout links are the main page’s: Starter still reads $59 a month billed monthly. The saving it advertises is the yearly one.

The “Get 500 extra credits with Pro” banner carries a 24-hour countdown that restarts for each visitor, because the end time is stored on your own device (pricing page).

And the $1 charge is real: a trial charge that becomes the plan price unless you cancel.

MakeUGC against Arcads, Creatify and HeyGen per ad

At list price, MakeUGC costs more per talking-actor video than Creatify or HeyGen’s cheapest avatar ad. The costs below sit on different bases, each named in its cell.

Prices checked 21 Oct 2026. Arcads publishes no price list.

Creatify’s 30-second avatar ad costs $2.73 per video on its Standard plan (Creatify pricing). HeyGen’s 30-second Avatar III video costs $0.10 per video on Creator (HeyGen pricing). Arcads prints no dollar price at all (Arcads pricing). Each figure assumes every credit is used.

The higher price buys a bundle. Product-in-hand video, motion control and API access come on every plan (plan comparison), and Pro raises the actor count from 300+ to 1,000+. If you only need a presenter reading a script, the cheaper tools cover it. The MakeUGC vs Arcads comparison and Higgsfield vs MakeUGC weigh the rest.

Work out your own cost

Divide your plan’s price by its credits, then multiply by 100 for each talking-actor video or by 200 for a 30-second Omi-Human product clip. The cost per AI ad calculator adds your hook count and how many takes you keep.

The MakeUGC profile covers its actors and ad terms, what’s new in MakeUGC tracks plan changes, and the MakeUGC hub gathers every page about it.
