Higgsfield
- Best for
- One person in the web app who wants Kling, Veo and Seedance on one credit balance and pays for video in credits.
- Not for
- Anyone automating through MCP, CLI, Canvas or the Supercomputer agent (these always spend credits), or brands that cannot let inputs and outputs train Higgsfield’s models.
MakeUGC
- Best for
- Direct-response teams testing many UGC and B-roll variants, with Batch Mode and product-in-hand video on every plan and API access drawing on the same credits.
- Not for
- Buyers who need an app credit cost per video before paying, which the pricing page does not publish, or who want unused credits to carry over.

Who is each one for?
MakeUGC is built around one job: a talking AI actor selling your product to camera. The style copies a creator’s phone video (UGC, user-generated content). Higgsfield is a studio for many video and image models, with UGC ad templates as one of its tools.
So MakeUGC vs Higgsfield turns on what else you make. A store that needs dozens of spoken hooks a week, each with the product in shot, gets a tool shaped around that. A team that also wants consistent faces through Soul ID and Higgsfield’s own image models gets them on the same credits.
MakeUGC’s talking actor page lists “1,000+ AI actors” and “50+ Languages”, with a render “in about two minutes”.
Higgsfield’s Marketing Automation page offers “40+ ready-to-use avatars” made with its Soul 2.0 image model, or one you describe in a prompt.
Everything MakeUGC sells, in one place: the MakeUGC hub.
How does each one make a UGC ad?
On MakeUGC you write the script and pick an actor. On Higgsfield you pick a template and a video mode, and the clip runs up to 15 seconds.
MakeUGC’s product-in-hand page gives three steps. You “Drop in one clear product photo”, choose an actor or clone yourself, then add a script or let AI draft it from your product page. The actor holds the product while they talk.
B-roll adds close-ups and cutaways on Seedance 2.5. The Flow Agent chains a persona, a script and the videos into one run you can save.
Higgsfield’s UGC route is Marketing Studio. Its ugc-factory address serves the same Marketing Studio page (read 21 October 2026). You paste a product link or up to 5 images and pick one of “1,500+” templates. Then you choose a mode such as UGC, Product Review or Unboxing (help article).
Every clip “runs on Seedance 2.0”, ByteDance’s video model. A 30-second ad on Higgsfield is two clips cut together.
For a script read word for word by a face you choose, Higgsfield’s other route is Lipsync Studio: lip sync on Higgsfield.

Which models run inside each one?
Higgsfield and MakeUGC both list Seedance, Veo, Grok and Wan. MakeUGC names Kling 4.0 and its own Make 1.0; Higgsfield names Kling 3.0 and its Soul image models.
| Model | Higgsfield | MakeUGC |
|---|---|---|
| Seedance 2.5 and 2.0 | Yes | Yes |
| Veo 3.1 | Yes | Yes |
| Kling | 3.0 | 4.0 |
| Grok Imagine 1.5 | Yes | Yes |
| Gemini Omni Flash | Yes | 1.1 |
| Wan | 2.6 | 3.0 |
| Own models | Soul (images) | Make 1.0 (video) |
| Also listed | Sora 2, still named after OpenAI closed its API on 24 Sep 2026 | MiniMax, Pixverse v5.5 |

The model menu matters less for talking-actor ads than for B-roll. MakeUGC’s product-in-hand page does not say which model renders the actor. Higgsfield’s Marketing Studio runs every clip on Seedance 2.0, so the rest of its menu serves your other shots.
One login for many models is a reported pro of Higgsfield (6 of 52 sources: YouTube, YouTube).
What does a 30-second ad cost on each?
On the entry plans for UGC ads, a 30-second ad costs $11.80 on MakeUGC Starter and $8.82 on Higgsfield Plus. Every cost on this page assumes every credit in the plan is used.
MakeUGC’s pricing page (read ) prices no video in credits. Its API docs charge 100 credits per talking-actor video, for scripts up to 1,500 characters. The pricing FAQ says API calls draw on the plan’s credits. A 30-second script runs about 75 words, roughly 450 characters, under a third of that limit.
Higgsfield’s pricing page ticks its “UGC builder” row on Plus and Ultra only. Its own sample table prices a 15-second Marketing Studio clip at 720p at 90 credits, so 30 seconds is 180.
| Plan and route | List price (USD a month) | Credits a month | Credits for 30 seconds | One 30-second ad |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MakeUGC Starter, talking actor | $59 | 500 | 100 | $11.80 |
| MakeUGC Growth, talking actor | $79 | 1,000 | 100 | $7.90 |
| MakeUGC Pro, talking actor | $149 | 2,000 | 100 | $7.45 |
| Higgsfield Plus, two Marketing Studio clips | $49 | 1,000 | 180 | $8.82 |
| Higgsfield Ultra, two Marketing Studio clips | $129 | 3,000 | 180 | $7.74 |
| Higgsfield Starter, Lipsync Studio still face | $15 | 200 | 72 to 84 | $5.40 to $6.30 |

Every MakeUGC row prices a talking-actor video. A product-in-hand video costs 100 credits on Nova V2 and 100 or 200 on Omi-Human, depending on length (API docs). At 200 credits, a Starter ad costs $23.60, double the table’s figure.
The Lipsync row makes a still portrait talk, with no product in the actor’s hands. Its rates come from the compare table on Higgsfield’s pricing page: about 12 to 14 credits per 5 seconds at 720p.
Reruns sit outside the table. In Marketing Studio a clip you dislike is generated again at full credit cost, since only Posters can be edited afterwards (help article). On MakeUGC one reviewer says each re-render after a typo costs credits again, while regenerating the voice alone is free (YouTube).

What do the trials and refunds give you?
MakeUGC starts Starter, Growth and Pro at $1, then renews at the plan price. Higgsfield has a free plan that marks every output with a visible watermark.
MakeUGC’s pricing page states no trial length; its FAQ says “Your checkout shows the trial duration and renewal amount for your billing period”. Users report that the trial gives too few credits to judge the tool and rolls into a full-price plan (3 of 29 sources: Trustpilot, Trustpilot).
Higgsfield’s help centre says there is no trial period, but its pricing page advertises a one-day unlimited trial on some accounts (read 21 October 2026).
Refunds differ more. MakeUGC’s Refund Policy (4 September 2025) refunds in full within three business days of buying or renewing, if credits are not substantially used. It refunds half if under half are used (3.1, 3.2). A refund deletes all your videos and projects, “non-reversible” (5).
Higgsfield’s terms (9.3) refund within 7 days of your first payment, only if no credits were used, minus a fee of up to 6%.
Which ads do their terms let you run?
Higgsfield and MakeUGC both let you run outputs in paid ads, with conditions. Higgsfield’s terms let it train on what you upload and make, outside an Enterprise Agreement (4.4); MakeUGC’s terms do not mention training.
MakeUGC’s terms (effective 17 November 2025) bar “fraud, impersonation, deception, or misleading commercial practices” (5(b)). Clause 5(f) bars output “in contexts where AI-disclosure is legally required but omitted”.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services to: (f) deploy Output in contexts where AI-disclosure is legally required but omitted
The Fair Use Policy (11 July 2025) forbids using outputs to “fabricate testimonials”, which a stock actor presenting a product experience as their own fits.
The terms page serves three copies of 3.2(a). Two keep your ownership “after your Subscription ends”; the third ties it to an active subscription. All three keep 7.3: “Termination does not affect your ownership rights to previously generated Output.” The Fair Use Policy (11 July 2025) licenses outputs only while you hold an active paid subscription (6).
Higgsfield’s terms (last updated 26 July 2026) do not “restrict your commercial use of Outputs” (4.4). Where a third-party model’s policy is “more restrictive”, that policy governs (8), and the terms do not list which models are third-party. Section 5.2(xi) bars presenting output as “human-generated when it is not”.
The same clause 4.4 lets Higgsfield train on “Your Content, Inputs, and Outputs” outside an Enterprise Agreement. Deleting content stops future use only (16.5(c)). IP indemnity, Higgsfield defending you against a rights claim, is on Enterprise only (ownership article).
That matters for a brand whose product shots or founder’s face should stay out of a model. Plan by plan: Higgsfield and MakeUGC in the AI commercial use matrix. Testimonial rules for AI actors: AI UGC legal guide.
MakeUGC’s Higgsfield page against Higgsfield’s own documents
MakeUGC runs a page titled “MakeUGC, a better version of Higgsfield” (makeugc.ai/higgsfield, undated, read 21 October 2026). It is a vendor’s sales page, and three of its rows differ from Higgsfield’s own documents.
MakeUGC, a better version of Higgsfield
Voice. MakeUGC lets creators record their own voice, adding unique accents and emotions to make content more personalized
Summary. MakeUGC combines powerful AI video creation with affordable pricing and advanced customization.
Its pricing row puts Higgsfield at $19 to $129 and up a month. Higgsfield’s own pricing page sells Starter at $15 a month (checked ).
That low end matches Higgsfield’s own page from 19 to 20 October 2026, when it sold Starter at that price.
It marks product in hand and UGC ads “Not available” for Higgsfield, where Higgsfield’s Marketing Automation page lists UGC, Product Review and Unboxing modes.
Its headline says “3x more affordable” and its table “2-3x cheaper”. The cost table above shows a narrower gap. Per 30-second ad, Higgsfield Plus costs less than MakeUGC Starter, and MakeUGC Pro costs under 4 per cent less than Higgsfield Ultra.
