Brevo’s price at 500, 2,500, 10,000 and 50,000 contacts

Brevo has no contact slider, so our table turns each list size into an email count. It assumes about 4 sends per contact a month, a weekly newsletter.

At 500 contacts Free covers the monthly total of 2,000 emails, but each weekly send of 500 takes two days under the 300-a-day cap. From 2,500 contacts you pay, and the plan changes at 50,000 because weekly mail then passes Starter’s 100,000-email ceiling (pricing API).

How often you send sets the bill

The same 10,000 contacts can cost $32 or $74 a month on Starter. The only difference is how many campaigns you send.

Brevo monthly price for 10,000 contacts by sends a month
Sends a month Emails Starter Standard
1 or 2 10,000 to 20,000 $32 $69
4 40,000 $46 $89
8 80,000 $74 $119

One send a month still bills the 20,000-email tier. A 10,000-email tier stores only 1,500 contacts, as the next section explains.

Bigger lists show the same pattern. Mail 50,000 contacts once a month and Starter’s 50,000-email tier costs $56. Mail them weekly and Standard’s 250,000-email tier costs $249 (pricing API).

The contact cap that moves you up a tier

Each Starter and Standard email tier caps how many contacts you can store. The first three tiers are tight; from 20,000 emails the cap is 500,000 (pricing.md).

Contacts Brevo Starter and Standard store at each email tier
Email tier Contacts you can store
5,000 emails 500
10,000 emails 1,500
15,000 emails 2,500
20,000 to 500,000 emails 500,000

So a list of 2,600 that you mail once a month still needs the 20,000-email tier: $32 on Starter. That is the lowest paid price for any list above 2,500 (pricing API).

Professional stores up to 2,000,000 contacts at every tier.

What the Brevo free plan allows

Free stores up to 100,000 contacts and sends 300 emails a day. It has 1 user, and every email carries the Brevo logo.

The daily cap is the real limit. Any newsletter to more than 300 contacts takes more than a day to leave, whatever your monthly total.

The pricing FAQ says sign-up needs no card. Sending starts once Brevo approves your account. Brevo’s Mailchimp comparison says Free includes automation for up to 2,000 contacts. The Free card lists no features, so the page does not say whether Free includes the Aura content generator.

Starter or Standard: unlimited automation decides

Starter is a sending plan. It has the drag-and-drop editor, forms, segments, the AI content generator and the MCP connector for ChatGPT and Claude, with 1 seat.

Standard adds what makes email run by itself: unlimited automation workflows, A/B testing, AI send time optimisation, click heatmaps and 1 landing page (pricing page). It also drops the “Sent with Brevo” footer and allows up to 3 seats.

At 5,000 emails, take Standard over Starter plus the logo remover: $18 a month buys unlimited automation too, against $21 (pricing API). From 10,000 emails up, Starter with the remover costs less again.

Brevo add-ons and extra charges

Four extras have a price in Brevo’s pricing API.

  • Extra seats cost $12 a month each on Standard, up to 3 seats. Starter allows 1; Professional includes 10.
  • The logo remover costs $12 a month on Starter. Standard and Professional include it.
  • Landing pages beyond Standard’s one cost $24 a month for pages 2 to 6.
  • CRM seats (Sales Essentials) cost $31 a month per user.

Some extras carry no price in the plan data. SMS credit is “sold separately” and charged when you buy it. Pay-as-you-go email credits “do not expire” for senders who prefer no plan (pricing FAQ).

A dedicated IP, an address only your mail leaves from, sits on the Enterprise card. Starter and Standard show no price for one.

How much yearly billing saves

Yearly billing takes 10 per cent off Starter, Standard and Professional, base and email tier alike (pricing API). Starter falls to $8.08 a month billed yearly and Standard to $16.17 a month billed yearly.

The yearly figure is one charge up front. Monthly plans run in 30-day periods, charged at the start of each, and you can cancel from your account.

Which Brevo plan you need for the AI features

Starter adds the Aura content generator for subject lines and copy, plus the MCP connector. Send time optimisation needs Standard; AI segmentation, AI product recommendations and the AI Data Analyst need Professional at $499 a month (pricing page).

At 10,000 contacts mailed weekly, send time optimisation costs you the step from Starter to Standard: $43 more a month.

Using the AI has a terms side. Clause 6.7 of the terms lets Brevo “enrich and train its AI Features” on your content, for improving the services.

Terms of use, 6.7

Brevo against other email tools on price

Under our 4-sends assumption, Brevo costs less than MailerLite and Mailchimp at 2,500, 10,000 and 50,000 contacts. Those Brevo figures at 2,500 and 10,000 are Starter, which lists no automation. On Standard, Brevo costs $89 at 10,000 contacts, level with MailerLite. At 500 contacts Brevo Free covers the monthly total, though each weekly send takes two days.

MailerLite and Mailchimp price by contacts, so their figures hold whatever your rhythm. Brevo’s figures rise if you send more than weekly. Brevo vs MailerLite weighs the two models, and the email price finder takes your own list size and send count. The AI email marketing hub maps every tool we track.
