What you get on each plan, and notes
Free
What you get: Up to 10,000 subscribers; unlimited forms, landing pages and broadcasts; tagging and segmentation; digital products and subscriptions; broadcast A/B testing; API access (help centre, 2026-09-23). No visual automations, sequences, rules, RSS campaigns, AI Connectors or paid apps.
Notes: The help centre says $0 for as long as you stay under 10,000 subscribers and also up to 10,000; the boundary at exactly 10,000 is worded both ways. Past 10,000 you’ll need to upgrade to a paid plan to keep sending.
Creator
What you get: Entry tier up to 1,000 subscribers. Unlimited visual automations and sequences, 2 team members, branding removal, SMS, RSS campaigns, 2-variant subject line A/B tests, AI Connectors (MCP), 24/7 email and chat support.
Notes: Monthly $39 from the help centre (2026-09-23); pricing page capture (2026-10-30) shows $33 a month billed yearly at $390. Price rises by subscriber tier ($59 a month at the 3,000-subscriber tier, billing help article). Tier prices above 3,000 not readable.
Pro
What you get: Everything in Creator plus unlimited team members, Subscriber Signals, engagement scoring, deliverability reporting, collaborative editing, content A/B tests, newsletter referral system, Facebook custom audiences, priority support.
Notes: Monthly $79 from the help centre; pricing page capture shows $66 a month on yearly billing with a limited-time first-year offer of $50 a month ($593 billed in the first year), renewing at the standard rate. Entry tier is up to 1,000 subscribers. Read in a browser on kit.com/pricing on 1 November 2026: 79 USD a month at 1,000 subscribers monthly; a limited-time offer takes 25% off the first year of yearly Pro (66 USD a month struck, 50 USD a month the first year), then the standard rate.

Kit’s price at 500, 2,500, 10,000 and 50,000 subscribers

The plan cards show the 1,000-subscriber tier. Your bill follows a slider, so the table reads it at four list sizes.

Up to 10,000 subscribers you pay nothing, as long as you send without automations. A sequence puts you on Creator, which steps up with the list, and Pro steps up beside it:

Kit Creator and Pro by subscriber step, monthly billing. Prices in USD.
Subscribers Creator Pro
1,000 $39 $79
3,000 $59 $99
10,000 $139 $189
55,000 $379 $519

Scroll sideways for all 3 columns

A list of 50,000 bills at the 55,000 step, because 45,000 is the step below. Below 55,000 the slider stops at 1,000, 3,000, 5,000, 8,000, 10,000, 15,000, 20,000, 25,000, 35,000 and 45,000, then moves in steps of 10,000 up to 365,000.

So a list that grows from 1,000 to 50,000 takes Creator from $39 a month to $379 a month.

Per 1,000 subscribers, that is $39 at 1,000, $13.90 at 10,000 and $6.89 at 55,000, so the bill grows slower than the list. The price table for all 15 email tools sets that curve beside the others.

What the Kit free plan allows

Kit Free holds up to 10,000 subscribers. It includes unlimited broadcasts, forms and landing pages, plus tagging, segmentation, broadcast A/B tests, API access and digital product sales (Free plan article).

The Kit Free plan

Price The Free plan costs $0 per month for as long as you stay under 10,000 subscribers.

Not on Free Visual automations and the automation template library, email sequences, rules and RSS campaigns, AI Connectors, and paid apps in the Kit App Store.

Kit’s help article on what the Free plan includes and where it stops. Kit, The Kit Free plan,

It leaves out visual automations, sequences, rules, RSS campaigns, AI Connectors and paid apps. That list decides most upgrades. A welcome series is a sequence, so a course launch needs Creator from day one.

The line itself is worded two ways. The help centre says Free lasts “for as long as you stay under 10,000 subscribers” in one sentence and “up to 10,000” in another. Past it, “you’ll need to upgrade to a paid plan to keep sending”.

The Kit Free plan

Past the cap You’ll need to upgrade to a paid plan to keep sending.

Switching back If you’re on a paid plan, you keep your paid features until the end of your current billing period. If you’re on a trial, access to paid features ends as soon as you switch.

Automations Visual automations and sequences stop running while you’re on the Free plan.

Kit’s help article on what happens past the Free cap and when paid features stop. Kit, The Kit Free plan: past 10,000 subscribers and switching back,

Creator and Pro come with a 14-day free trial and no card, according to the pricing page.

What moves you to the next tier

Kit counts confirmed subscribers. Emails sent do not change the price, so a daily newsletter costs the same as a monthly one.

Pass a tier’s limit and Kit moves you up “so nothing in your account stops working” (billing article). The move down is yours to make. You choose “Switch to a lower tier” in billing settings, and the lower price starts on your next billing date.

Kit’s billing and pricing pages do not say whether unsubscribed or bounced contacts count. Prune them before a tier edge, then request the step down yourself.

How much the yearly plan saves

The billing article says yearly plans give “12 months for the price of 10”. Creator falls to $33 a month billed yearly at 1,000 subscribers, and Pro to $66 a month billed yearly.

The pricing page also shows a limited-time first-year offer on yearly Pro: $50 a month, shown against the standard $66 a month billed yearly. It renews at the standard yearly rate.

Kit refunds a yearly plan only within 30 days of your first payment (billing article). Pay yearly once your list size has settled, since a move up a tier still raises the bill.

Add-ons and what each plan includes

Most extras sit inside the plans. Creator includes SMS, RSS campaigns, 2 team members and branding removal. Pro adds unlimited team members, engagement scoring, deliverability reporting and the newsletter referral system (plan comparison).

A dedicated IP is the one add-on Kit’s help centre prices. A dedicated IP means your emails go out from an address no other sender shares, so your reputation is yours alone. Kit charges $250 a month and recommends it from 150,000 messages a week (dedicated IP article).

You ask the Kit team for one. Everyone else sends from Kit’s shared IPs.

Which Kit plan has the AI features

AI Connectors, Kit’s MCP server, need Creator or Pro. MCP lets an assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT read your account and act on it.

On Free the assistant connects, and every tool call returns an upgrade prompt (AI Connectors article). So at 10,000 subscribers the email is free and AI Connectors cost the Creator rate for that tier. The subject line generator in the broadcast editor has no plan stated on kit.com/ai.

The Kit profile covers what each AI tool does and Kit’s answer on training AI with your list.

Kit against other email tools on price

Kit vs MailerLite puts the two free creator plans side by side. Kit vs Mailchimp adds a tool that counts unsubscribed contacts. MailerLite pricing gives its own steps, and the AI email marketing hub maps the whole section.
