What 400, 2,000 or 5,000 credits buy
Method: $0.30 per second of video at list price on Starter at $20 a month, if every credit is used. Starter $20 / 400 credits = $0.05 a credit; Seedance 2.0 Fast 720p is about 30 credits per 5 s (pricing table) = $1.50 a clip, $0.30 a second. Plus monthly $60 / 2,000 = $0.03 a credit; Seedance 2.5 1080p is about 50 credits per 5 s = $1.50 ($0.30 a second), or $0.90 ($0.18 a second) on annual Plus ($432 a year = $36 a month, $0.018 a credit). The Starter card’s about 15
videos conflicts with the table’s 13.
The table divides each plan’s monthly price by the clip count invideo’s comparison table gives for that model, 5 seconds a clip (pricing). Starter’s card says “about 15” Seedance 2 Fast videos; the comparison table counts 13, and this page uses 13.

Is invideo AI free?
A free plan exists, though the pricing page does not list it. The help centre gives it “limited credits to explore the platform”, reset “weekly on Monday at 12 a.m. UTC”, and lets you “Use and share videos on social media” (help centre, 28 July 2026). It publishes no credit figure.
The help article says nothing about watermarks. Users report free exports carrying one, and generative clips costing more credits than the free plan holds (6 of 42 sources: YouTube, YouTube).
Clause 4(h) of the terms names no plan and lets you “commercialise Outputs you generate”, and the usage policy bars removing watermarks (2.6) (terms; usage policy). The condition on paid ads: outputs that include invideo’s stock media follow that media’s own licence, which neither document reproduces (rights data).
invideo’s pricing page and terms describe no free trial of the paid plans. Clause 3(d) allows a refund within 7 days of buying or renewing if no credits or premium features were used. Users report refusals once any credit is spent (6 of 42 sources: Trustpilot).
Costs the plan card leaves out
- Users report one short project using a month’s credits (9 of 42 sources: Trustpilot).
- Every regeneration costs credits, fixes included (9 of 42 sources: Trustpilot, r/VideoEditing).
The invideo AI profile sets out those reports.
