Creatify vs invideo AI

By Alexandre S. Published Last checked What changed

Verdict: Creatify or invideo AI

For avatar ads at a published rate, Creatify; for stock edits and Seedance 2.0 Fast clips, invideo AI. On Starter, a 30-second Creatify avatar ad costs $3.90 and a 5-second invideo Seedance clip $1.50, if every credit is used (checked ).

The catch: Creatify rounds each 15 seconds up and refunds nothing, while invideo can change credit costs “without prior notice”.

Which costs less for an ad?

Each vendor publishes a rate for a different output: Creatify for avatar seconds, invideo for generated clips. Per generated second, invideo’s Seedance 2.0 Fast lists lower than Creatify’s Veo 3.

Creatify bills avatar video at 5 credits per 15 seconds, “rounded up”. A Veo 3 product clip costs a flat 10 credits for up to 8 seconds (help centre). invideo’s pricing table puts a 5-second Seedance 2.0 Fast clip at about 30 credits.

Method: plan price divided by plan credits, times the credits each vendor states. Creatify’s rounding means a 16-second avatar ad bills as 30 seconds, and a 31-second one as 45.

Every plan: Creatify pricing and invideo AI pricing.

Both take a product link and return UGC-style ads; only Creatify’s plan grid lists a way to push them into ad accounts.

Creatify turns a product URL into avatar and product ads, with batch variations and 200+ templates on Starter. Its pricing grid lists an “Ad Launcher (Meta / TikTok / AppLovin)”, and Pro adds the “AI Performance Agent” for the same three platforms.

Users credit it with turning one link into many ad variations (15 of 61 sources: G2, Reddit).

invideo AI’s UGC Ads page asks you to “Paste the product or app link, add your script, and describe the creator you want on screen”. It then “casts a creator” and sizes the ad for TikTok, Reels, Meta or YouTube Shorts. The page names no launcher, so finished ads are exported and uploaded by hand.

What each plan lets you run in paid ads

Not legal advice This section quotes Creatify’s and invideo’s documents with their dates and reads them as an ad buyer would. Ask a lawyer before you rely on any reading here.

Paid plans on both allow ads within content rules. On Free, invideo’s licence names no plan limit, while Creatify’s terms say Free users have “limited rights” and do not list them (s.1).

Creatify’s terms (effective 23 September 2024) assign you any copyright it holds in your assets (6.2). A breach of its Moderation Policy counts as a breach of the licences (6.1), and then “all rights granted to you shall revert to Creatify” (6.2).

invideo grants a “perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free” licence to “commercialise Outputs you generate” (4(h)). Its usage policy (6.2) bars using stock media so that an actor “personally endorses, uses or is affiliated with you or your products”.

On training, each clause binds a different party. invideo’s binds invideo: it “will not use your User Data to train or fine-tune” (4(f), 8 July 2026). Creatify’s licence to your uploads covers improving the Services (6.5); training is named only for Community Assets (6.3). The terms do not say whether Creatify trains on your content.

Creatify’s 6.2 also binds you: its assets may not be used to train AI. Clause by clause: Creatify and invideo AI in the AI commercial use matrix, and are AI UGC ads legal.

Credits, refunds and cancelling

Creatify credits last two months with no refunds; invideo credits lapse monthly, with a 7-day refund if none were used.

Creatify’s pricing FAQ gives credits two months, and its refund policy (23 August 2026) says “payments are final and non-refundable”. Users report refusals even for unusable results (8 of 61 sources: Trustpilot, Trustpilot).

invideo’s credits do not roll over, and its pricing FAQ reserves “the right to update credit costs at any time, without prior notice”. Its terms refund within 7 days of buying or renewing if no credits or premium features were used (3(d)).

Credits drain on retries on both

Retries drain credits on both; on Creatify, outputs that miss the brief come first (17 of 61 sources).

On Creatify, 61 public sources from August 2025 to September 2026:

  • Outputs miss the brief, with lip sync or faces that drift (17 of 61 sources: Trustpilot, Trustpilot)
  • Retries, failed renders and agent runs all bill, so credits drain fast (15 of 61 sources: Trustpilot, Reddit)

On invideo AI, 42 public sources from July 2025 to September 2026:

  • One short project can use a month of credits on a paid plan (9 of 42 sources, on Trustpilot)
  • Every regeneration costs credits, fixes for the AI’s own mistakes included (9 of 42 sources: Trustpilot, Reddit)

If neither fits
