Tagshop AI vs Creatify
Verdict: Creatify or Tagshop AI
Creatify for most buyers; Tagshop AI if an avatar must hold your product in the ad. With every credit used, a 30-second Creatify ad costs $2.73 on Standard and a Tagshop video $5.80 on Starter, length unstated (checked ).
The catch: neither refunds a monthly plan, and 15 of 61 public sources say Creatify’s credits drain on retries.
Creatify
- Best for
- E-commerce teams making URL-to-video ads in volume who want an ad launcher for Meta, TikTok and AppLovin in the same tool.
- Not for
- Buyers who need predictable spend on the agent features, whose credit use is not known upfront, or more than one seat below Max.
Tagshop AI
- Best for
- Quick tests of UGC formats such as unboxing and demos from a product URL, with avatars holding the product.
- Not for
- Buyers who need refunds or long storage: monthly fees are never refunded (terms s.5), and Starter keeps your data for 3 months.

What is Tagshop AI?
Tagshop AI is an AI UGC ad maker. UGC, or user-generated content, is the phone-filmed, customer-style ad format, and Tagshop makes it without a camera. You give it a product link, an image or a prompt, and a synthetic presenter reviews, unboxes or demonstrates the product on video.
The company is Tagshop AI Private Limited, named in its privacy policy. It once sold a social-wall product, so older reviews on G2 and Trustpilot describe different software. We left those out of the counts below.
Creatify does the same core job and adds more around it. Its launcher pushes ads to Meta, TikTok and AppLovin, and a tracker follows competitors’ ads. The Creatify profile covers it in full. Every Tagshop plan sits in the price tracker.
Which costs less for one ad?
Creatify costs less at all three volumes below, on monthly and yearly billing. At 5 ads on monthly billing, Tagshop costs about twice Creatify. The gap narrows at 15 ads, and on yearly billing the two nearly match there.
Creatify bills 5 credits per 15 seconds of avatar video, rounded up (credit article), so a 30-second ad uses 10 credits.
Tagshop’s catalogue gives Starter 50 credits and “Upto 5 videos”, which implies about 10 credits a video. It never says how long that video is.
| Ads a month | Creatify monthly | Tagshop AI monthly | Creatify yearly, per month | Tagshop AI yearly, per month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | Standard $15 | Starter $29 | Standard $10 | Starter $14 |
| 15 | Pro $55 | Growth $69 | Pro $38 | Growth $39 |
| 30 | Max $95 | Pro $129 | Max $66 | Pro $79 |

On monthly billing, the unknown length does not rescue Tagshop at entry level. A 60-second Creatify ad uses 20 credits, or $5.45 on Standard, still under Starter’s $5.80 a video (Tagshop catalogue, read ).
On yearly billing it can. If a Tagshop video runs 60 seconds, Starter’s $2.80 a video undercuts Creatify’s $3.64.
Creatify’s plans also hold more. Pro makes 28 ads at 30 seconds, against 15 videos on Growth, the Tagshop plan nearest in price. Tagshop’s top plan stops at 30 videos.
Running out works differently on each. Tagshop sells 20 extra credits for $20, about $10 a video. Creatify’s upgrade article names a bigger plan instead.
Tagshop’s yearly prices sit under a sale banner, “Save Up to 51% on Yearly Plans”, marked as limited-time on its pricing page on 7 November 2026. Compare them again once that banner goes.
Creatify’s rate has an exception. Its Agent, Ad Flow and Ad Clone tools use credits that “cannot be determined upfront”, so the figures above cover its standard video tools.
On Tagshop, reviewers find it cheaper than rival AI UGC tools (6 of 28 sources: Trustpilot, G2).
Which has the better actors, and can they hold your product?
Tagshop AI lists a presenter holding your product on every plan. Creatify has the larger actor library once you pay for Pro.
Tagshop’s plan table reads “Product holding/wearing videos”, and its FAQ says avatars “can hold and present your product”. Creatify’s pricing page lists no such feature.
Creatify’s AI fashion model page does put clothing on AI models from a flat lay photo, and says nothing about holding a product. How AI UGC handles a product in hand compares the options across tools.
A presenter of your own costs less on Tagshop. Its AI Twin comes with Starter at $29 a month. Creatify’s custom avatars start on Pro at $55 a month (plans, read ).
Both pricing pages say 75+ languages. Creatify’s help centre FAQ, updated 20 September 2026, lists 29 by name, so check yours is there before you buy.
Does a product link become an ad on both?
Yes. Users report it on both tools, and it leads the praise for each. That is 15 of 61 sources on Creatify (G2, Reddit) and 9 of 28 on Tagshop (G2, Trustpilot).
Speed is harder to compare. Tagshop’s FAQ gives 5 to 10 minutes of processing a video and no parallel limit. Creatify gives no processing time, and its Standard makes 1 generation at a time, Pro up to 5 in parallel. Parallel runs matter when you test ten hooks in an afternoon.
The best link-to-video tools compare what each tool reads from a product page.
Which one launches the ad for you?
Creatify goes further. Its plan grid lists an Ad Launcher and an Ad Agent for Meta, TikTok and AppLovin, and Pro adds Ad Agent Automations.
Tagshop’s plan table lists “Campaign management (publish ad assets directly on TikTok)”. Its homepage goes wider, saying you can “publish across TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and more”. Only TikTok appears on the plan table, so ask before you pay if Meta publishing decides it.
Ad Clone, which rebuilds the structure of an existing ad for your product, runs the other way. Tagshop includes it on Starter at $29 a month, and Creatify from Pro at $55 a month (plans, read ).
What do the terms allow in paid ads?
Both give you ownership of what you make, and both leave stock avatars unclear. Tagshop’s sales copy goes further than its terms.
Tagshop’s FAQ says “there are no limits-you can use the ads freely across platforms”. Its terms (15 April 2025, section 7) say you own your output “subject to third-party content provided by us (e.g., stock, templates, music, avatars), which may have their own license terms”. Tagshop does not publish those licences.
Creatify’s terms (23 September 2024, section 6.2) assign you the copyright it holds in your assets. That sits under its Moderation Policy and a ban on using them to train AI. Free users “have limited rights” that the terms do not list. No clause covers the AI actor library. Clause by clause: Creatify and Tagshop AI in the rights matrix.
Tagshop’s documents disagree on the governing law. The terms choose California (section 16), and the short terms inside its privacy policy choose India.
Tagshop’s homepage lists “an AI avatar giving an honest-sounding first-person review” as a format. The FTC’s rule on fake reviews bars misrepresenting that “the reviewer or testimonialist exists” (16 CFR 465.2). Our AI UGC legal guide covers how the rule reaches an AI actor. The same rule binds a Creatify ad written that way.
What if you want your money back?
Neither tool refunds a monthly plan. Tagshop AI leaves a small door open on yearly plans, and Creatify publishes none.
Tagshop’s terms (section 5) say “ALL FEES AND CHARGES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE”, then add a yearly window of 3 to 7 days after you buy. It closes the moment you use a credit. Product faults and quality complaints go to case-by-case review, with approval “not guaranteed”.
5. Refunds
ALL FEES AND CHARGES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial subscription periods, unused Credits, downgrades, add-ons, promotional offers, or any other Services, except where required by applicable law.
Monthly Subscription Plans Refunds will not be processed for any monthly subscription plans once the purchase has been completed.
Annual Subscription Plans Annual plans may be eligible for a refund only within a limited window of 3–7 days from the date of purchase, subject to the following conditions: No credits must have been used during this period.
Creatify’s refund policy (23 August 2026) says “payments are final and non-refundable”, and its terms add “except where required by law”. Users report refusals, even for unusable results (8 of 61 sources: Trustpilot, Reddit). Others report support refunding credits or charges (7 of 61 sources: Trustpilot, Trustpilot).
Nobody in Tagshop’s 28 sources describes asking for a refund, so its window has no public track record. Because the window needs zero credits used, it cannot rescue a bad first render either.
Tagshop describes a shorter way out: its FAQ says to head to the Subscription tab. Creatify’s help centre lists nine steps, and users report that cancelling is hard, with charges after it (9 of 61 sources: Trustpilot, Trustpilot).
Tagshop AI review: what users report on each
Tagshop AI’s reviews read better, and they rest on far less evidence.
Trustpilot shows Tagshop AI at 4.2 from 18 reviews and Creatify at 3.7 from 844, both read on 7 November 2026. Archived G2 pages give each 4.8: Tagshop from 152 reviews on 3 September 2026, Creatify from 1,702 on 25 August 2026. Tagshop’s two scores are profile totals, so they include reviews of its older social-wall product.
On Tagshop AI, 28 public sources from October 2025 to September 2026:
- The AI video agent turns a plain brief into a stitched video (7 of 28 sources: Trustpilot, Trustpilot)
- New users find the interface confusing at first (2 of 28 sources: both on G2)
That sample leans promotional. Most of its Trustpilot and G2 reviews give five stars, several G2 reviewers say they are new users, and the praise clusters around feature launches. Every YouTube review we found carries an affiliate or sponsored link. No source reports ad results or a platform rejection.
On Creatify, 61 public sources from August 2025 to September 2026:
- Output misses the brief, with lip sync or faces that drift (17 of 61 sources: Trustpilot, Reddit)
- Retries and failed renders bill, so credits drain fast (15 of 61 sources: Trustpilot, Reddit)
- Beginners get a first video out quickly (11 of 61 sources: Trustpilot, G2)
Tagshop’s 28 sources hold no reports of refused refunds or credits draining on retries, against 61 sources for Creatify, and they lean promotional. A record that small proves little. Is Creatify worth it? sets those reports against what each plan buys.
Who should pick Tagshop AI?
Pick Tagshop AI in four cases:
- Your ad needs an avatar holding your product, a shot Creatify’s pricing page does not list.
- You want Ad Clone or your own AI Twin without paying for Creatify Pro at $55 a month (plans, read ).
- You run short of credits now and then, and would rather top up than change plan.
- You want 4K export, which Tagshop lists from Growth and Creatify’s pricing page does not name.
Pick Creatify when you make more ads, launch them from the same tool, or want a published rate per second. Creatify pricing breaks down each plan.
If neither fits
MakeUGC also puts a product in an avatar’s hands, on Pro at $149 a month (pricing, read ). That works out at $7.45 a talking-actor video, if every credit is used. MakeUGC vs Creatify sets the two side by side.
The AI UGC hub sorts the wider field by job. Creatify alternatives lists replacements by what you are leaving behind.
