AI video agency costs, compared
An AI video agency, or AI video production agency, is a service that makes video ads for you with generative tools. You send a brief, a person runs the software, and finished files come back. You pay for their judgement and their hours.
Published prices start near $17 a video at a flat AI service and run to $200 at Creatify Studio. Admiral Media starts at 200 euros, and a film crew costs thousands. Running the tool yourself costs a few dollars a video. So the real choice is whether someone on your team has the time to run it well.
Creatify sells both routes. Its Standard plan at $15 a month works out at $2.73 per video for a 30-second ad if every credit is used, read on . Creatify Studio is the version where its team does the work.
What are the routes for getting video ads made?
There are three routes, with two service types inside the agency one. The cheapest service here sits near $17 a video, and a production company starts at $1,500.
| Route | Per video | Turnaround | Videos a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| A tool you run: Creatify Standard | $2.73 for 30 seconds | Your own time | 5 at 30 seconds |
| Flat AI service: Shhots | $16.63, 50 images included | 30-day cycle | 30 |
| AI agency: Creatify Studio | $100 to $200 | 48 hours | 25 to 100+ |
| AI agency: Admiral Media | From 200 euros | Typically two weeks, a category figure | About 20 at the entry tier |
| Human UGC service: Icon | $166.67 | 12 to 16 days after creators get the product | 6 |
| Production company: Broadcast2World | $1,500 to $15,000 | Four to eight weeks | One at a time |

Creatify Standard is $15 a month, Shhots is $499 a month and Admiral Media starts at 4,000 euros a month. Icon’s plan for six ads is $1,000 a month. Creatify Studio and production companies print no monthly fee.
The production turnaround is Admiral’s benchmark, and Admiral sells the competing route. Creatify sells a competing route too. Its own table gives agencies two to four weeks, 10 to 20 videos a month and $500 to $10,000 a video.
Icon is a useful outlier. It sells human-filmed UGC with no AI in the video, so its price sits inside the AI agency band while real creators appear on camera.
What does each route cost at your volume?
Volume decides this. A tool’s bill moves in plan steps, a flat service stays level up to its cap, and a per-video service rises with every ad. Here is the bill for a month of 30-second ads.
| Ads a month | Creatify, self-run | Shhots | Creatify Studio |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6 | $55 a month | $499 | Below its stated volume |
| 25 | $55 a month | $499 | $2,500 to $5,000 |
| 50 | $95 a month | Above its 30 videos | $5,000 to $10,000 |

The self-run column uses 10 credits for a 30-second avatar ad, from Creatify’s credit article. Six ads need 60 credits, more than Standard’s 55. Twenty-five need 250, inside Pro’s 280. Fifty need 500, inside Max’s 730.
That column is a floor, since it counts one render per ad. Users report credits running out faster than the pricing suggests, because retries and agent runs bill too (15 of 61 sources: Trustpilot, Reddit).
At 25 ads, Creatify Studio costs at least $2,445 a month more than running Creatify yourself, and Shhots costs $444 more.
That money pays for someone else’s hours and taste. If you have a person who can write hooks and judge a cut, keep the money. If nobody does, a tool sits unused and the agency is the route that gets ads made.
What is Creatify Studio?
Creatify Studio is Creatify’s done-for-you service, and its page calls it “Human-led strategy, AI-powered production”. Its team and AI research your category, write the scripts and produce the ads. It says a strategist reviews every output before delivery.
How it works
1. Onboarding & Strategy Your creative strategist learns your brand, goals, and competitors. You align on strategy and creative direction before production begins.
2. AI-Powered Production Our team and AI research your category, generate personas, concepts, hooks, scripts, and full video ads, all produced in parallel at scale.
3. Human QA & Brand Review Your creative strategist reviews every output for brand safety and quality, catching hallucinations before anything ships.
4. Delivery and iteration Finished ads land in your dashboard. Review, leave feedback, and request unlimited revisions, same day.
The page lists $100 to $200 a video, 48 hours and 25 to 100+ videos a month. Revisions are unlimited and same day, through a dashboard. Twenty-five videos at $100 make about $2,500 a month. The page prints no monthly fee.
Three gaps are worth raising on the demo call:
- The page doesn’t say who owns the finished ads.
- It shows logos without saying which of them use Studio, so ask for a client in your category.
- Its customer numbers are vendor figures, so ask how they were measured.
It suits a brand with a product page, a budget and no creative lead. Skip it if you want one hero film, real customers on camera or a price without a sales call.
What does creative as a service cost?
Creative as a service means a subscription to a remote design and video team, billed monthly instead of per project. It is a broader buy than an AI video agency, and it is sold to bigger marketing departments.
Superside, one large example, starts at a $15,000 monthly minimum on an annual term, plus a $1,000 monthly software fee. Video is quoted per project. That fits a team that also needs landing pages and decks, and it makes little sense for ads alone.
What do you own after the agency delivers?
Owning a video has three layers, and sales pages usually mention one. The contract says what the seller gives you. Copyright says what you can stop others doing. Likeness rights cover the face and voice in the file.
Start with copyright, where AI changes the answer. The US Copyright Office says copyright “does not extend to purely AI-generated material”, and that prompts alone don’t give enough control.
A contract hands you only what the agency holds. For a fully generated ad that leaves little, and a rival who copies the ad is hard to stop. Human work in the file, such as a written script or an edit, is what you can protect.
Classic production has the opposite trap. A commissioned video is a work made for hire only if four criteria are met. They include a written agreement that says so, signed by all parties. Without it, the production company can hold the copyright in a film you paid for.
| Seller | What it states |
|---|---|
| Creatify plans | You own your original content, and Creatify assigns its copyright, with two restrictions and rights reverting on a breach (section 6.2) |
| Creatify Studio | Nothing on the page |
| Shhots | “You do, with a full commercial license” |
| Admiral Media | Nothing on the pricing page; its article advises that assets “should belong to the client” |
| Icon | You are “sole and exclusive owner” of the brand content (terms) |
| Superside | Nothing on the pricing page |

The third layer is the one that bites after you part ways. A stock AI actor is licensed through a tool plan. When the agency holds that plan, your right to keep running the face rests on its terms. Ask what happens if the plan ends.
Selling AI UGC ads covers those duties from the agency’s side. AI UGC and the law covers the disclosure rules that stay with you as the advertiser.
How do you choose between a tool and an agency?
Choose by who does the thinking. A tool gives you cheap output, and an agency gives you decisions.
Pick the tool you run if someone on your team can write a hook and you need many versions. How to use Creatify walks through a first ad. Users report that output often misses the brief (17 of 61 sources: Trustpilot, Trustpilot), so plan time to check it.
Pick an AI video agency if the ads aren’t getting made at all. You pay a premium, and the ads run this month.
Pick a video ad agency or production company for a brand film, a TV spot or a founder story. AI suits variation and speed, and those jobs need a location, a real person or a director. Creatify is the wrong pick here at either price.
Pick a human UGC service such as Icon when the product has to be held or worn on camera. The same goes for health, finance and legal ads. There a synthetic face can pose as a patient, a client or an expert, a risk AI UGC and the law covers.
Use the AI vs human UGC calculator with your own numbers.
Whichever you choose, media spend sits on top. No price on this page includes the money you pay Meta or TikTok to show the ads.
What to ask before you sign
Five questions separate a good agency from a reseller of a tool you could run yourself.
- Who writes the scripts, and who approves them before production?
- Which tools and which AI actors do you use, and do my ads keep running if your plan lapses?
- Do I get a signed assignment of the rights you hold, plus the project files?
- How many concepts are in the volume, and how many are resizes of one idea?
- Can I run a one-month pilot before a longer term? Admiral says most credible agencies offer one.
Question 4 matters most. Twenty-five videos of one idea teach you one thing, which is why a creative testing framework counts concepts first. Icon’s plan states “all unique concepts / no variations”, and that is the wording to look for.

Questions about AI video agencies
How much does an AI video agency cost?
Published prices start near $17 a video at a flat AI service and run to $200 at Creatify Studio. Admiral Media starts at 200 euros a video, or 4,000 euros a month on a retainer.
Is an AI video agency cheaper than a production company?
Per video, yes. Production runs from about $1,500 a spot. An agency sells volume and variants, and it can’t replace a real location or a real person.
Does Creatify have an agency service?
Yes. Creatify’s agency service is Creatify Studio, done for you at $100 to $200 a video on its page, booked through a demo.
Who owns videos made by an AI video agency?
Your contract decides what the agency hands over. In the US, purely AI-generated material gets no copyright, so ask for the rights in writing and keep human work in the ad.
