Smartly’s new tier sets modelled ad lift beside platform figures
Estimates from INCRMNTAL, benchmarks and budget forecasts join Smartly’s software, and the company says they can feed its AI-run campaign work.
Smartly sells big brands software for building and running social ads, and on 2 November 2026 it launched Intelligence Pro, a premium tier that takes on an old complaint about platforms reporting on their own ads. Beside the platform’s reported results, its INCRMNTAL Connect feature sets a separate estimate of what the ads caused.
Three other tools join it, PPC Land reports. Reach Planner forecasts how many people a media mix will reach. Benchmarks sets a campaign against similar ones, split by platform, region and industry. Headroom Analysis is meant to read past performance for the point where extra spend stops paying and returns start to fade. Smartly says the AI-run work in its creative and media tools can increasingly lean on these signals.
Only customers Smartly deems eligible get it, at no public price. INCRMNTAL, which Smartly acquired this year, works without switching campaigns off: it reads changes in spend and results over time to estimate what would have happened without the ads. PPC Land recalls a 2023 paper on 663 Facebook experiments where randomised trials put upper-funnel lift, the effect on early steps towards a sale, at a median of 29 per cent, against 83 per cent from machine-learning estimates. That paper did not cover INCRMNTAL.
Further down the market, prices are listed. Madgicx Pro Complete with AI started at $45 a month, or $32 on yearly billing, in its lowest ad-spend band, and Segwise Growth was $499, or $449, at our 3 November check (our media buyer tools).
Headroom and INCRMNTAL Connect are both models built on past data, so Intelligence Pro gives a buyer a second opinion to weigh against the platform’s, and a randomised holdout, which keeps a random group away from the ads, remains the most direct test when the two disagree.
