Note Free plans only: free AI ad generators. One platform: AI Facebook ad generators. One format each: the static ads hub and the AI UGC hub.

Which AI ad generator fits which ad?

An AI ad generator is software that makes the ad itself: a picture, a video clip or written copy. Tools that research rivals or run the campaign sit on AI tools for media buyers.

Four jobs split the field. A static ad is a still image with text, the format of a feed or banner ad. A product video is a short clip built from a store page’s photos and text. Copy is the headline and body text.

A UGC-style ad is a video in which an AI person talks to the camera as if a customer filmed it on a phone. UGC means user-generated content.

Not sure which you need? Product photos and little budget: a static. A store page with several photos: product video. A product a person must explain: avatar video. Copy alone only if you already have the picture.

The cost column divides a plan’s price by what its credits buy, assuming you use every credit. A credit is each vendor’s own unit of use, so the bases differ: per image, per video, per 30 seconds. Compare costs inside one job only. A count such as 18 of 34 sources means 18 of 34 public reviews say so.

Static image ads: Predis.ai and Pencil cost least per image

AdCreative.ai makes banners and ad copy from a brand kit, a saved logo and style guide. Starter works out at $1.95 per image if every credit is used, and its subscriber terms limit use of the service to “internal business purposes” (clause 2.1). The card trial converts to a large charge in 18 of 34 sources (G2, r/SaaS).

AdCreative.ai’s plans: monthly credits are a drop-down inside each plan card, 20 on Starter and 300 on Professional AdCreative.ai pricing section, captured

Predis.ai is the lowest per image in the table at $0.098 per image, from a card that reads “About 325 images or 33 videos” for 1,300 credits. The trial bills the full plan in 11 of 67 sources (Trustpilot, Shopify App Store).

Pencil’s Core plan works out at $0.196 per image through Nano Banana 2. Its pricing page lists launching ads to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Google Display, DV360 (Google’s Display & Video 360 ad-buying platform) and LinkedIn. Pencil’s rate table bills FLUX 2 Pro at 0.3 generations, or $0.084 an image. 10 of 25 sources say it turns one creative into many sized variations (G2, r/dropship).

Omneky lists plans from from $29 a month with a 7-day free trial. Trials that convert and billing that continues after cancelling appear in 9 of 39 sources (Trustpilot, Trustpilot).

The Brief, formerly Creatopy, sells flat plans: the AI allowance is “included for normal use” with no credit count, so no cost per ad exists to compute. Credits metering exports appear in 13 of 37 sources (r/graphic_design, Trustpilot), and the pricing page now reads “no credits. no counters.”

Its AI terms say “you retain all right, title, and interest in your Input and Output”. Building ads in many sizes is quick for non-designers in 8 of 37 sources (Trustpilot, Capterra).

Each placement takes its own image ratio, and Facebook ad specs lists them.

Avatar video: HeyGen’s Avatar III costs least per 30 seconds

For billing and actor terms on two rivals side by side, see Creatify vs Arcads.

HeyGen Creator lists $29 a month for 600 credits, and works out at $0.10 to $1.16 per video by avatar model. The low end is its Avatar III model and the high end its Avatar V, by the HeyGen credit guide. The free plan is rated barred for paid ads. Every fix or retake costs credits in 8 of 39 sources (App Store, Trustpilot).

JoggAI Starter lists 12,000 credits a month, at the card’s about 100 credits a minute, and works out at $0.12 to $0.24 per video for 30 seconds. Lip sync that jitters and avatars that read as artificial appear in 9 of 40 sources (AppSumo, Trustpilot).

Creatify bills avatar video in 15-second blocks. Its plan cards count 11 avatar videos of 15 seconds on Standard’s 55 credits, which is 5 credits each. A 30-second video is 10 credits and works out at $2.73 on Standard.

The free plan gives 10 credits a month, up to 2 video ads or 20 image ads, and exports carry a watermark. Credits run out faster than the pricing suggests in 15 of 61 sources (Trustpilot, r/FacebookAds).

Creatify’s individual plans: Standard 55 credits a month, Pro 280, Max 730, each with its monthly list price struck through beside a yearly price Creatify pricing page, captured

MakeUGC Starter works out at $11.80 per video if every credit is used. That figure rests on a script of up to 1,500 characters and states no video length, so it does not sit on Creatify’s 30-second basis. Charges continuing after cancelling appear in 17 of 29 sources (Trustpilot, Trustpilot).

Arcads shows no price on its homepage and offers a free trial. Its help centre bills two of its three actor models 800 credits per started minute (pricing article). A 15-second ad then costs what a 60-second ad costs. 18 of 64 sources say output falls short of the polished examples in its own ads (Trustpilot, r/FacebookAds).

Nextify counts videos per plan: Starter lists “up to 50 videos”, which makes $0.58 per video its best case with the video length unstated.

Avatar plans differ most on billing unit, and AI UGC cost works the sums by length. For ads that are a full film, AI commercial generators compares the tools that make one.

Topview turns product links, scripts or reference ads into video. It lists Plus from $36 a month. Its Ultra card names 30-day unlimited 720P video on Seedance 2.5, Kling 4.0 Omni and Topview T1 (Seedance and Kling are AI video models from ByteDance and Kuaishou). “Unlimited” plans run through a queue that takes hours to days per clip in 33 of 73 sources (Trustpilot, Trustpilot).

Zeely is a small-business app that turns a product URL into video and static ads, then launches Facebook and Instagram campaigns. Starter lists $29.95 a month for 2,500 credits and the page gives no credits per video, so no cost per ad is computed. The paid entry trial rolls into a monthly plan in 12 of 74 sources (Trustpilot, Trustpilot).

Higgsfield takes a link, an image or a prompt and puts Seedance, Kling, Nano Banana and its own models on one credit balance. “Unlimited” runs on a slow shared queue in 8 of 52 sources (Trustpilot, r/generativeAI). Its ad workflow is in Higgsfield Marketing Studio.

Link-first video tools are compared in URL to video AI tools, and the shot types that sell a product are in ecommerce video ads.

Ad copy: Jasper sells a saved brand voice

Jasper Pro lists $69 a month for one seat, 2 Brand Voices (saved tone-of-voice profiles) and a 7-day trial; Business lists unlimited voices. The brand voice is the most praised feature in 8 of 44 sources (YouTube, G2). Billing is the top complaint in 13 of 44: trials that convert to annual charges (YouTube, Trustpilot).

Free assistants also write ad copy, and the free list covers whose terms allow paid use. The ad copy hub compares the paid copy tools.

Do the paid plans let you run the output as an ad?

On the cheapest paid plan, 13 of the 15 tools are rated “allowed with conditions”, one is “allowed” and one is “unclear” in the rights matrix. The Brief is the one rated allowed on every plan. Predis.ai is the unclear one: its terms never mention generated posts, image ads or video clips.

Where a condition applies, it sits in the clause the matrix row quotes. AdCreative.ai’s subscriber terms grant the service “solely for Customer’s internal business purposes” (2.1), and the matrix rates only its Enterprise terms as allowed. Topview bars free users from advertising use. Read the row for your plan before a client campaign.

Left out, and why

Canva is a design editor with AI inside, and no Canva price is verified here. AI Facebook ad generators covers its ad terms. Blaze plans and posts social content for small businesses and lists ad campaigns, which puts it outside the four jobs above.

Meta’s Advantage+ creative and TikTok Symphony run inside the ad platforms and carry no plan price. Meta’s is covered in Advantage+ creative.
